Tennessee goes into Baton Rouge and comes out with a 40 - 13 win against a ranked SEC opponent. This is the third ranked opponent UT has beaten this year.

Bama is coming to Neyland next week. Hooker is showing he is a great college QB. Hopefully he can turn the Tide.

Excellent road win Tom, Knoxville will be rocking next weekend. Biggest game in a long time.

When was the last home game you can remember of this importance?

I'm just here for the train wreck, one way or the other. I can't believe how many pundits have already written this one off. Never write Saban off..

Alabama will have to execute much, much better to win in Knoxville. We have the talent, we just need to eliminate penalties, turnovers and our wide receivers need to be able.to get.open. I think those are.the keys.

I think that's fair, KP. I'm just not buying into the pundits spin about Tennessee being more talented. No one is more talented than Alabama. Now who has the better team? We'll see.

Tenn has talent but not the level of talent that Alabama has but in today's QB driven offensive world Hooker is one of the best qB's in college football right now. If Young can't go or isn't 100% that levels the playing field quite a bit as we saw vs Texas A&M.

I don't think anyone has more.talent.overall than Alabama. What I do think is that for.some reason our wide receivers are not.able to get.open consistently. Young has been able to, given enough time, keep checking down and looking for someone to finally break out. Milroe doesn't have that ability yet. He pulls the ball down prematurely and runs.

I've seen that at both the HS and college levels, especially, QBs who are excellent runners as well as passers. Their first instinct is to use their legs vs. patiently checking down, but it rarely is successful.

Yes and it's especially hard to take.when you have excellent running backs. Normally I say the same thing about having excellent wide receivers but they have not been a factor this season.
