LOL! I read the review. This book was made for my friend, Phil. It makes his case. Regarding dogmatism, I see the dichotomy between the two extremes among my four siblings, three of whom are very liberal. Needless to say, I avoid any form of political conversation at family gatherings. I even recently asked to be removed from a sibling-originated email thread bashing Bush, but I did so without verbalizing my reasons. I'm sure my three siblings see me as the "black sheep" of the family, even though I am a registered democrat.

Thanks, Stu. I will buy the book and read it.

Yikes! I had no idea that Liberals 1) made more money than conservatives and that 2) they gave less to charity.

    Thanks.

To a conservative "charity" is reaching into his pocket to help another. To the liberal, it's reaching into someone else's pocket to help. They assuage their guilt at giving less by making others give more. And this somehow is noble!!!
