Other than 2 big plays, Iowa’s defense has been taking it to Michigan. Fortunately Iowa’s offense is playing like it has played all year.

They need to make these people in the DR PEPPER contest throw the football like it's supposed to be thrown!

But it's pretty cool that kids get that big check!

Michigan pretty much puts it out of reach 21 - 3.
Running game and passing game worked on that drive. I imagine that the Hawkeyes defense will be out of gas in the 4th qtr.

In the Championship game nobody really cares about, Pitt is up 24 - 21

    In the 3rd qtr.

Change at QB, they bring in a guy whose completion % is 46%?

Man Quinn Ewers is on line 1, Kirk

So Terry, if the choices were ND in the playoffs with Kelly continuing as coach or missing the playoffs but having Freeman leading you next year, what would your choice be?

Well if you asked asked me after the Stanford game and suggested that Kelly might be leaving I would have questioned your sanity. I would have wanted Kelly to be the coach. I was certainly thinking that he would coach out his contract which was through the 2024 season. Freeman had a great 1st season, but no way did I think he was ready to be the HC.

Needed more seasoning as a DCOORD and more seasoning in the Power 5. Maybe even a stint at a middle of the road power 5 school as the HC and then come back to ND.

After Kelly stiffed the team, I would have rather Rudy return and coach us in the CFP.! So I am grateful right now to have Freeman and eagerly look forward to what he might accomplish. He's a high risk and high reward choice that's for sure.

What I was trying to suggest is that while it might be disappointing for the Irish to miss the playoffs, my sense is that Freeman might have the ability to take the Irish to heights not reached by Kelly as I think Freeman will be a maniacal recruiter.

Pretty amazing season for a team that was unranked to start the season with most thinking that Harbaugh would be fired at the end of the year. I certainly did not see this coming.

So why would Georgia be the pick over ND ? Georgia was higher ranked and was a TD pick and got beat by 17 by a team with one loss coming in. They have one loss.

Nd was ranked lower than undefeated Cincinnati, was a two point underdog and lost by 11. They have one loss.

Thanks Terry! The Khaki pants celebration of the Jim Harbaugh militia for our victory against Finland is in full swing.

Bob, those are usually the absolute most fun seasons to go through.
No expectations, no pressure, just a helluva fun ride.
    Enjoy sir!
