Not too long ago, I alluded to the fact that nothing lasts forever including our dominance over Michigan in football. The Wolverines drove us crazy with their defense and your rushing game for five TDs. I just did not think it would be this year. Congratulations on a great performance.
Dominant performance by the M O line. A salute to the D also that kept an explosive offense in check.
Congrats Bobda, great game by M from the outset. Pretty good Consolation for the Buckeyes to go to the Rose Bowl.
I really thought it would be a Georgia v Ohio State national championship game. Buckeyes with the great offense and Georgia with the great defense.
Don’t wanna get in an argument about this cuz yes, he probably should have been ejected. Would just point out that he didn’t start it. I’d have given them both unsportsmanlike penalties and maybe a flagrant and ejection on the OSU guy for yanking the helmet off.
Congratulations, Bobda. You’ve been long suffering under the weight of your OSU friends’ relentlessly punishing humor. I know you’ll handle the win with class, if for no other reason it’s a tough task trying to cross out every t, o, s, and u in your posts.
Many congrats to Bobda and his boys... The first M game I attended in person was in 1968. I had listened to my Dad do the radio broadcast of the game for years before and listened as he commiserated or celebrated with his buddies. For as long as I can remember, the more physical team has prevailed. Same held true yesterday as the M front on both sides of the ball controlled the line of scrimmage. I have to admit, I did not see that coming, but it was a game well-played and a job well done.
Thanks for the congrats. I am trying to avoid gloating about curb stomping the Buckeyes because if we do make the playoffs, we may be on a path to meet a smaller but still lethal Ohio landmine coached by a former Buckeye linebacker.
Going back to the Ohio State loss to Oregon, Day acknowledged there were problems with this years defense and sort of demoted the DCoord. The offense got going and was so dominant it probably covered up any defensive issues. But Michigan was just that team to take advantage of the defensive issues and make the Buckeyes pay. I wonder if Day will have a big shakeup in the offseason with the defensive coaching staff?
