That was a tough loss for Nebraska. Tuned it in late just in time to see the implosion. Sorry AJ hope I didn't bring bad luck.
On another note it appears the Gators are going to get our top choice for a new coach, Billy Napier of Louisiana. Word is he will probably be announced Sunday or Monday after some last issues are agreed on. Gator fans are pretty excited about this guy, much different that when we got Mullen.
I watched the 1st half of that game Bill, early on it looked like all NCSTATE. UNC finally got a TD late in the half and I guess that got them going.
What an unbelievable turn of events. Two TD's for NC State in less than 2 minutes. Long TD pass then a successful insides kick and another TD much aided by penalties. Unbelievable.
I wonder if a second retirement is looking attractive to Mack? He's looked lost on the sideline a lot this year
Good prospect. Besides 4 years as the Head Coach at Louisiana, he has been a coordinator at a couple of places. He has been mentioned as a head coach candidate a couple of times in the last few years.
Napier is young and energetic, he will be a hard worker on the recruiting trail. The opposite of Mullen.
30-21 with about 2:30 to go. Safties, what's your ONE JOB? Oh... I let a guy get behind me... Ok fine, we just have to get the onside kick... and a UNC player kinda frog hops OVER the damned ball as the kicker slides under to grab it. Then again... allow a ball the the endzone. I almost believe several guys on UNC had money on the Pack. I should never watch the upsets I pick... They always get me the "Close but no cigar" moments...
Congrats Bill... With Aranda apparently signing an extension with Baylor, it's starting to look like USC and L$U are going to be left with some second choice guys...
Pretty big gap in the line of NC’s kickoff coverage and the Wolfpack kicker kicked the ball in that gap. Looks like #4 “frog jumped” ( LOL Scott ) to avoid contact with the kicker.
Rhett Lashlee the Miami OCoord will take the SMU job now that Sonny Dykes is headed to TCU. Lashlee is a Gus Malzahn disciple.
AJ, I think I covered all of the things that Nebraska did to give the game away, but there were so many I could have missed a few.
Gators over 200 yards at halftime but only 7 points. Two interceptions including one in the end zone with about 30 seconds left in the half This season just can't end soon enough and get our new staff in place. Want to win this game first though.
Lots of fighting back and forth, but Gators just got another TD and lead 24-7 early in the 4th quarter.
Michigan taking it to Ohio State, that could well put them in the playoffs if it holds up and they win the Big 10.
