League kisses their butts? Low ratings? Put down the crack pipe man, the Pats play within the rules and they are one of the bigger draws in the NFL because they have Brady for 1 and other very recognizable stars. How exactly do you think the Pats get any favortism from the NFL?
The Pats are where they are because they are consistently the best team in the NFL. But they are developing an image problem which those stunts and yesterday didn't help. Belecek is a HOF coach but a jerk off the field. He learned from the master, Bill Parcells. Will see if JIF is so forgiving should another team decide to hold a dance at midfield in Foxboro. And if Schottenheimer had just gave the ball to Tomlinson coming down the stretch there would not have been any dancing Pats to talk about.
But they'll still get a visit from The Heisman winning QB Troy Smith and one of his runners up, Brady Quinn, correct?
Quinn and Smith are in the Sr. Bowl. They were never on the Shrine game roster like Leake. Leake stiffed a bunch of kids.

Not me, I'm not the one that agreed to play in the East-West Shrine game and then stiffed the kids because I got what I thought was a better offer. I'd feel the same way if a Notre Dame player agreed to come to Houston for the Shrine game and then stiffed us at the last minute.

The Pats are a great team but with the friggen money he makes, why does Belichek appear on the sidelines with a raggady-ass sweatshirt with cut-off sleeves? The NFL is the preeminent, billion dollar, professional sports league. Given that, its head coaches should not dress like crack heads on their way to the soup kitchen for a handout. Hell, I bet if some employee showed up looking like that at JIF's old business, that employee would find himself in the unemployment line the next day.

I was surprised that the Colts got this far, given how their run defense played most of the year. In fact after Ron Dayne of the Texans torched them for 150+ yards in the Texans victory, and this comming on the heels of the Jaguars running all over them, I never would have figured them to be able to beat Kansas City. But somehow they did and then I figured no way would they beat the Ravens, the Ravens not only had a good/great defense but they had a running game and an experienced QB in McNair who was playing his best football. Yet they did. So this week I think it finally catches up to them, maybe. If the Pats can run on the Colts then I can't see them wining. The Texans showed the way, control the ball by running it and keeping Manning off the field. Brady should be able to also supplement that with a ball control passing game to his TE's. I haven't looked, are the Pats the favorites? It seems like even though they are the visitors they should be favored. Terry
Sidney!...T... Yes Colts are 3-5 pt pick. The key to this game is going to be Lawrence Maroney..The pats rookie running back. The local talking heads are saying Bill is going to let him loose Sunday. If in fact he can get into the Colts secondary and raise some hell, Pats will be in good shape. jif
