Schottenheimers poor playoff record + rookie QB= No chance!! :)

I predict San Diego will have a new coach next year inspite of regular season success by Schottenheimer.

It's to bad that the win was overshadowed by the patriots lack of sportsmanship and class by mocking the chargers at midfield.

Heres to hoping that Manning Blasts the arrogant Patriots and finally gets the monkey off his back.

"Tomlinson yelled and pointed at the Patriots player, upset that some Patriots were dancing on the Chargers logo at midfield after they had silenced the record crowd of 68,810 at Qualcomm Stadium.

"I would never react in that way. I was very upset," Tomlinson said. "When you go to the middle of our field and start doing the dance Shawne Merriman is known for, that is disrespectful. They showed no class and maybe that comes from the head coach.""

Gator fans are worried about lack of class and sportsmanship overshadowing a victory???

What's up with the Patriots? They used to be the epitome of businesslike execution and class. It seems they have sacrificed the latter.

First we have Belecek's extremely poor treatment of Jet coach Eric Mangini. He treats him like a traitor for leaving for a HC job when, in fact, Mangini is simply following his mentor's career path. Now this display yesterday.

On an unrelated Gator note, Chris Leake stiffed the East - West Shrine game that is to be played here in Houston. It's a well know game that benefits Shrine Hospitals all over the country. Was he injured? Nope, just got a better offer...to play in the Sr. Bowl. Shame on him, he had a chance to be a part of something that really benefits some kids, and he went for the $$ of the Sr. Bowl. They had to dig around to find somebody to replace him, the Idaho State QB...whoppee.

Chris Leak is a marginal NFL draft pick at Qb and he needs every chance he can get to showcase his talents.

A good showing at the Senior Bowl which has the most top notch talent and the most scouts can help his NFL standing immeasurably.

He also stated it was a lifelong dream to play in that game.

I'm sure the kids who were looking forward to the Nat'l Championship QB visiting them this week in the hospital, will be glad to hear that he's fullfilling his life long dream of playing in the Sr. Bowl.

    Lifelong dreams.

Neil Armstrong wanted to travel in space.
Pete Rose wanted to play major league baseball.
The Wright Brothers wanted man to fly like birds.
Bill Clinton wanted to be President.
Chris Leak wanted to play in the Senior Bowl :?

Merriman's a doper... he's so roided up that he'll be years coming down. He shouldn't even be playing.

    What's the Pat's excuse?

"Every time I will play New England it will be a personal grudge," linebacker Shaun Phillips said, according to the Union-Tribune. "That was very classless. ... When we went in and beat their head in New England [last season] ... we did nothing but compliment them and say they were a good team. We would never disrespect a team like that."

I'm just hoping that Manning and Co. can limit their excitement in the next game. Manning was the head to head winner the last time he went up against Brady. We'll just have to wait and see if he can repeat.
