    note to band director

    <t>The national title game is not the time or place to do an homage to the "Titanic"...<br/>
    <br/>
    I assure you that millions of people at home, at 80some odd thousand in the stadium all thought at the same time.....'well hell, isn't that ironic'...<br/>

    Buckeyes... Bringing the world together...</t>

    As far as the REAL script Ohio ... that was the first time I've seen it beginningn to end. That's pretty impressive! And that tuba player that got dot the 'I' - I think he was the most excited person in the stadium - including the players. What an honor to get chosen to do that in the NC game. Too bad the rest of his day went down hill quick from there.

    And I think we all got a kick out of the snippits of each band that were shown on TV - UF with the upbeat, jazzy, having fun music, and tOSU with this funeral march sounding song from the Titanic. I'm sure TBDBITL still beats the pants off of the Pride of the Sunshine as far as music & marching & doing an artsy show, but in hindsight, baaaaad choice of theme!
