....for the young and uneducated viewers on this forum. The 1971 Cornhuskers WERE the team of the century back in the day......the 1995 CORNHUSKERS have yet to be equaled. Just wanted everybody to know that. Happy Thanksgiving to my Skybox Family.

Jeff Kinney, Jerry Tagge, and Rich Glover vs Jack Mildren and Greg Pruitt. I was watching that game with a friend of mine, I was living in Point Loma attached to the Dental Clinic at NTC San Diego, my HS Classmate was stationed in Point Hueneme and was married and invited me at the time staying in the BOQ. I had reunion, a good home cooked meal and we watched a great game. I didn't have to do dishes because I was an officer and he was enlisted!

Hope you and the family have a great Turkey Day in the Motherland!

Wishing the same to all the Skyboxers.

Not quite old enough to remember 71, but I sure remember all the 90's versions of the Huskers.

Pt. Loma, was tough duty. I went to a school for a couple of months at Fiddle Sticks (that's what we called it anyway) up on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific.

I had to laugh looking at the player stats in those days. Rich Glover, our AA NG weighed about 247. Now we have cheerleaders that big.

Ah yes and the Gators sure still have nightmares of the 95 team.

The good news for us Gators though is that we learned enough to win the 96 championship.

The other good news is that we didn't have to play the 95 Husker team in the process. :)
