I have three comments about this Georgia performance: 1) I am glad that they waited until after the Tennessee game to show this kind of defensive performance. 2) I wish that they showed more of this kind of performance before now (after Tennessee of course) so that I would have picked them in the contest. :? 3) Don't go into a shell too early. With 5:37 left, this offensive series has been less than productive.
Glad Richt has given the play calling up but theres still lots of work to be done in Athens. I'm not sold on the scheme of Richts offense but maybe Bobo can make it work enough to get by. Stafford has a way to go. He makes some bad decisions. It was a year I would rather forget. Glad it's over.
Georgia played up to their talent in the last 3 games, all wins over very good teams. I did think at first that this would be a repeat of the WVa game last year where Georgia was so flat and spotted them too many points, but they came out in the 2nd half and did what ever was necessary to get points and the Georgia defense asserted itself. Matthew Stafford should be much better next year because of this years trials and tribulations. It's tough to come in as a true freshman and take over a team at QB without some ups and downs. Terry
