how many candidates for President of the US can you recall who openly admitted that their basic cognitive skills are tested regularly? did you ever think an angry mob could break through the locked gate of a private property, head toward the house shouting threats, be confronted by the two homeowners who are registered gun owners and now the property owners are being investigated by the state of Missouri? can you imagine the day when New York City in the throes of an exploding violent crime wave would defund its own Police Dept by $1 billion? And that the US Congresswoman who represents that district would admonish the Mayor that it was not nearly enough?
As much as I despise Trump for being a wacko and a poor leader only out for himself I cannot understand the Democratic party not coming up with a more viable candidate to defeat Trump than the 77 year old Biden.

Heard this morning that Broadway shows are not going to reopen until next year. That's terrible news for restaurants in the theater district. Meanwhile they're talking about them getting a bailout. I say that VP Pence be put in charge of the "bailout." I'm sure his attitude would be "not one Alexander Hamilton."
When DeBlasio disbanded the 600 plain clothes street force violent crime immediately shot up. New York is getting that Ed Koch era feel about it again. If visitors don't feel safe they will not come in. Broadway and restaurants, the ones still in business, will suffer greatly.
DeBlasio is term limited. His disdain for the safety of his city is appalling. However, if the people of NY choose to reelect politicians like him and AOC they're making their own beds.
