Apparently this is a concept put forth by Bo Schembechler that Marcus Thomas never became familiar with. And he wonders "why aren't I out there....." "http://www.gatorsportsforum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=166936&start=0"
This kid is in serious denial. When this first came up this season he said the first test was his first time ever, now he admits to at least one prior, in 2003. Then the 2nd test was suposedly the result of the first offense. Then he said he was dropped from the team for violating curfew, now we find there was at least a third failure. I defended him and getting re-instated earlier, now I am glad he is gone. MT needs to take a serious look at himself and his future and quit blaming Meyer, if he wants to find his problem he needs to look in the mirror. And there is apparently more to the story and I doubt if it is complimentary to Mr. Thomas.
I hope he doesn't get drafted by the Texans. That whole situation never seemed to add up and I know you defended him Bill and if I were you I'd have done the same thing. But as an outsider and non-fan it just never added up. Terry
To continue beating the dead horse JO'Co, I'm not defending him any longer And gipper, sometimes one liners are appropriate   I wish him luck in the pros, but am afraid he may have trouble if he doesn't change his attitude.
It's always trouble when a kids refuses to accept responsibilty and be accountable for his actions.....reminds me so much of a very gifted player we had a few years ago - Maurice Clarett - who could not accept any accountabilty. It was always somebody else's fault. I still believe that he was the best college running back I ever saw in Columbus...now he's in jail. Tragic....let's hope this kid can turn it around.
