Well I guess I need to ask because I’ve heard so many stories about LSU fans, fights, drinks poured on heads, a friends very pregnant wife getting punched. How batshit crazy are these Cajuns

The writers seem to think Alabama will play Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. If that occurs, Najee might reconsider sitting out since he might go for 300 yards running behind Alabama’s massive offensive line against our undersized D-line. Might be a good idea if Saban shows him tapes of how OSU and Wisky road graded M’s D-line.

    Ralph,

They're pretty crazy, but it's not like we've got friends shooting friends in the back of the head because their team lost.. so it's all relative. Think of it like a snake. You know how you're going into the whole interaction, just don't take your eye off them :D

LSU fans have.always been notorious for getting drunker and drunker during the game. After the game, especially when they lose, they get abusive. Mostly fist fights, usually done by small groups of pissed off, drunk fans. Some.stuff like.this.happens everywhere but leaving the stadium in Baton Rouge is scary at night.

I'm really looking forward to the Utah/Oregon game tonight. I haven't watched Utah very much and Oregon is a good team. Utes definitely need a good solid win tonight, it would help immensely if they had a blowout type of win, but I don't expect the Ducks to let that happen.

I'll be curious to see the crowd tonight. I'm not sure Utah has a big fanbase that is going to travel to Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, the Ducks are closer. But I don't think the Pac12 Championship game has a history of large boisterous crowds like the SEC Championship game.

    From ESPN.

Can Oregon overcome the identity gap? No team in the country knows itself better than Utah -- the Utes know exactly how they're going to go about winning a game. They play at the slowest tempo in the FBS; they force nonstop gang tackles; they never move backward; and they destroy your run game and force you to go one-dimensional. They are a violent football team. This has always been the Kyle Whittingham id, but this team executes it better than any other has. And it's on the doorstep of a playoff bid because of it.
    • Mario Cristobal's Ducks have alternated between brilliance and just getting by, and their identity shifted midseason from "brilliant defense compensating for hit-or-miss offense" to the opposite. After their best run of form, they finished the year with two duds or near-duds. They stay on schedule pretty well and punish you when you're off-schedule, and they've obviously got plenty of athleticism and star power. But Utah's been the better team, and Oregon has to figure out how to reverse that on Friday night.

    SP+ projection: Utah 30, Oregon 23

Looks like the Ducks brought their defense as well.

17-0 Ducks. For a minute there I thought the Ute defense was going rise up and get them back in the game.

Looking bad right now for the Utes

Looking like the Utes have no answers and are going to lay a giant egg. This opens the door for the winner of the OU /Baylor game

This game has turned out to be quite a surprise! Oregon offense has pretty much controlled the game thus far.

I believe they had a good crowd for the game. The Utah fans traveled just fine whenever they've had to. I just love the Pac12 game. We were pulling for Oregon in this house (I personally didn't care, I believe I laid 1 point on this game), but the wife likes the Ducks for some reason so we were rooting for them. There isn't any kissing cousins in this league. We don't root for each other. We want everyone else to lose. Watching Oregon destroys Utah's season was just great for me. Our friends came over to watch the game with us (one Georgia fan and an Alabama alum). They don't understand why I wasn't rooting for Utah to win to get the playoff spot. It's hard to explain I guess. With all of the NFL talent on Utah's defense, I wonder how many of those guys will play in the bowl game? Oregon will be playing for Roses so I assume they'll suit up everyone.

btw, I do believe that moving the game to Vegas in the future will help attendance greatly. I have no idea why this thing was ever in Santa Clarita.

Yeah Oregon pulled ahead early and fought off a pretty good comeback effort. They scored a lot of points on the #3 defense in the country.

I don't think Oklahoma played well enough to jump Georgia if Georgia beats LSU.

I didn't see that OU/Baylor game but it sounds like it was a good game. Baylor had to go to a true freshman at QB and he produced. Props to Matt Rhule for the job he did this season.

If LSU takes care of business the Sooners will be in the CFP for the 3rd year in a row.

    Georgia wins they're in.

LSU ? It's a bitch for OU if LSU loses but they get in over the Sooners after they won the Big 12....
