Reports out of Champaign have Florida Def coord. Charlie Strong dining with his ol pal Ron Zook because of the great defensive game played by Illinois vs. OSU........

Made ya look Buckeyes....

OK...I apologize and won't do it again.....

You do wonder if these guys could possibly talk. No doubt that Strong has digested the Illinois game tape for sure.

If the Buckeyes play UF with the same Je ne sais quois that they play the Illini...then they have a problem. :)

"'I do not know what'; indescribable attractive attribute or quality; 'a certain something'

I guess that means that the Gators had better bring it more than Illinois did vs. OSU.

"je ne sais quois"....give yourself a little Amour-Propre for that one Terry.

I dunno...everybody keeps bringing up that Illinois game.

I was watching it with Crazy John in a sports bar, and Purdue Michigan State was on one TV and right beside it on another was Ohio State-Illinois.

I was on pins and needles over the Purdue game, but could hardly get excited about the OSU game...I remember thinkin' that we'd get some crap about the closeness of the score and wishing we'd quit dorking around and put them away...but was never really worried.

I will be on pins and needles during the Fla. game, and I expect it to be close and I won't feel like it is in control if we have a small lead like I did that day.

(John says my attitude that day showed him that I am, ahem, a Boilermaker and not as cross-bred as I think.)

It should be coming into focus exactly what Coach Tressel was thinking during the second half of the Illinois game and what influenced his play calling.......
