I watched the Titans - Texans game and the Texans royally screwed up by passing on him. Vince won the game in OT with one of his patented runs for the win that USC fans painfully remember. Not to mention that he threw the long and short ball extremely well. The Titans might be the best team in the AFC right now.

Vince will soon be the best QB in the NFL as well if he continues to adapt to the Pro game like he has so far.

He's certainly surprised me so far. I think it was a break for him to go to a team like the Titans who have a great coach and didn't have very high expectations this year. He could bring him along slowly. Sort of reminds me how Andy Reid went slowly with McNabb when he was a rookie.

Best in the league down the road? Only time will tell.

Maybe a little credit for Norm Chow is in order. He's said to be pretty good at developing quarterbacks.

Anyone who has a clue towards NFL football..would know that the titans arent close to being the best team in the AFC

I do agree with you that the texans made a huge mistake in the draft..and Young should win rookie of the year.

They are under .500 and they just beat the mighty texans.

    Teams better than Tenn.-
Baltimore, Cinn, Indy, N.E., Miami, Jets, San Diego..do i need to continue??

Titans just beat Tenn and Tenn got beat again today? Might want to take them off your list. Besides it's just your opinion.

Titans are 6-2 in their last 8 games, that's playing pretty darn good.

I think you meant to say Indy. Thats absurb..they may be going through some struggles with the run D..but they still started 8-0.

Several teams go on late season runs when their playoff hopes are reeling or are about over. Look at Miami..they started off 1-6..Killed the Bears..spanked the pats today..and have won 5/6. KC had won 4 straight. Jacksonville is playing lights out. Baltimore cant be stop. Cincy is on a roll. Chargers may be the best team in the entire NFL. I dont disagree that the Titans have a decent team..but to call them the AFC's best is ridicoulous.

    Scott..

<t>Changing subjects what were your thoughts on the UCLA game Saturday? The Aggies should do well in the 12 this year. Great deal of talent there. They played the Bruins tough on the road.</t>

I was mostly annoyed by our very POOR ball handling. At a few points it looked like the ball was covered in grease!

Turnovers, and that 6 point swing at the end of the first half cost us the game, but the experience of playing at LSU, and then in LA will surely help the guys down the road.

I expect to be very near the top of the XII this year, and maybe win it if a few of our guys can get hot...

Gillispie is absolutely the best hire we've had in a LONG time...

TAMU looked pretty good. The Bruins have been banging people out of their way and the Aggies refused to move and played them physical in return. Both teams should go along way this year...
