    <t>i was hoping this guy would get lost in the shuffle of a coaching change and that Robogenius would be able to snatch him up and replace our DC.</t>

    Corey, hadn't Texas already offered him a job as defensive coordinator?

    Corey....

    <t>What do you hear on Minter's life span w/ Weis. Will he survive? Of course hoping I'm wrong but after LSU torches us in the SB does he go then or after the recruiting date is past.</t>

    Bill,

    Mack Brown said yesterday that he has had no contact with anybody regarding the DCoord job and that no offers have been made. Said he won't start looking till after the bowl game.

    <t>I've heard nothing.<br/>
    <br/>
    What I was hoping for was that Shannon would get lost in the shuffle of an all new regime coming in and cleaning house at Miami.<br/>
    <br/>
    Then our defense takes the field at the Sugar and well, be our defense.. Then we got a spot where (IMHO) one of the top 3 DCs in the game is out there and we have a chance to make a move.<br/>
    <br/>
    Weis is loyal, but he ain't stupid. I dont think he'll pull the trigger on Minter unless there is a clear, and better, alternative.<br/>
