Don't think this has been posted. College football rankings: Way-too-early top 25 sees Clemson entering 2019 season at No. 1
Yeah i see that now. I guess the "Way too early" label should have been a dead give-away. It just makes the whole thing useless, but I guess it gets readers to click on it.
Even though it was posted before the transfers I can't see the transfers making that much difference in the rankings. I'm not sure I agree with LSU as #4.... top ten but not #4. I do think Florida will be a preseason top ten probably around 7 or 8 giving the SEC 4 teams in the top 10. ND and Michigan look about right and OSU probably does depend on Fields availability in order to be up near the top 5. And is Auburn omitted from the top 25 as an oversight? Seems like they should be somewhere in the mix.
OSU is a big unknown since they don't what will happen with Fields and Tate Martell is gone so there is a big question mark there at qB for them. Even if Fields does become eligible it will be his first time starting, he did play some for UGA but not a lot last year. UGA didn't use him like Clemson did Trevor Lawrence when he was getting playing time and Kelly Bryant was the starter.
