Columbus Dispatch is reporting that he will be named the assistant athletic director following the Rose Bowl Game, no other details at the moment.
Is this a somewhat ceremonial position, where he's mostly meeting with donors and lite duty or is he serious about Ath Administration and this is his training slot where he'll learn the lay of the land before moving on to be an Ath. Director either at Ohio State or some other place?
No details at this moment Terry, but I am assuming it will be full duties of Athletic Director. No mention of replacing Gene Smith. although that might be the case.
Please disregard my comments above. Turns out Urban will be joining four other individuals who see day to day operations for the football program. I guess the ceremonial tag is the correct fit.
George, he will be teaching one class in the Fisher College of Business along with one other individual.
What does Urban Meyer’s new office location tell you about Ryan Day’s future? Ohio State 20 Questions
