I know..... no one cares anymore about this rivalry game ( me included... almost ).... but out of tradition's sake I thought I would put it out there.

I know UF is very average at best... to poor in some areas like the OL.

UT seemed to have the same issue when I watched them vs. WVa.

Not enough stars on either team for them to be competitive in the SEC but certainly they have the makings of enough equal talent to give rise to a highly competitive close game in Knoxville tomorrow.

Since it is at 7 pm that gives the Vol fans plenty of time to get liquored up and start to remember how they hate Florida and so therefore the crowd will probably act like the game is for the SEC East like in the old bygone days of Spurrier vs. Fulmer.

And that.... plus the close nature of the game should make it fun to watch.

As for me.... I'm not drinking anymore but I'll still see that Tenn Orange on the screen and hear Rocky Top in the background enough to get my attention and my interest up.

UF is a slight favorite so that's how I will predict the game's outcome... UF 23-21.

The last two in the Swamp were games I attended and the endings were amazing and fun.... for Florida fans.

Tenn may get revenge this year..... the homefield can't hurt a bit.

UF sportswriters are all picking the Vols.

I'll get to watch since the Aggies are on the road this week.
No real feel for who wins this one.
Both are on the rebuilding track, and I haven't seen enough to know who's ahead in that chase.

We very much enjoyed the trip to Gainesville last season, and looking forward to the trip to Knoxville, whenever they let us play there.

the fans booed the Vols off the field at halftime and are leaving after Florida scored after the Vols 5th turnover. Pruitt needs to get this ship righted and run some people out.

Gator just have barely 200 yds offense and 33 points off that...how's that work?

I stopped checking in one this game after the 6th turnover and Tennessee defenders had clearly quit on the field.

Florida played with a different energy and sense of urgency tonight than they have shown this season.

Adding to the feeling that UF may be a tad better than I thought was the way Kentucky manhandled 14th ranked MSU tonight..... 28-7.

The Cats are apparently not the usual house cat variety..... they have a pretty decent team and are probably number two in the SEC East so UF's close loss to them two weeks ago doesn't look so bad now.

No that loss doesn't look as bad to them in hindsight, but today UT just kept coughing up the ball until they quit. Like one kid literally quit. If I was a Vol fan, I'd demand that the coach clean house.

I am sorry for not participating in this topic. Sometimes my 81 year old mind loses track of time. :)

Very happy with the result of this game. I think we already have as many turnovers as last year all season. Probably an little off but the turnovers have sure been in our favor.

Most points the Gators every scored at Tennessee.

I am very happy with our new coach. We still have a big weakness on offensive line but our defense has apparently come around.

Next up Miss St. we will know a lot more about our Gators after that game.
