This is not to the same level as the Paterno/Sandusky deal or the Mich State deal...but he is being accused of looking the other way when an Ohio State team physician abused Wrestlers and Students. He was once an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State.

The Physician they are talking about died in 2005, and Jordan was an assistant in the late 80's early 90's.

Ohio State has opened an investigation into the claims.

I'd say Jordan is done as a Congressman, too many people are coming forward and saying they told him about it, I'm not sure how he can defend himself.

Here we go again. Just as in the Alabama Senatorial race someone comes out with allegations dating back decades. It's becoming an all to familiar pattern. We have statutes of limitation in the law for certain things because after a long period of time it's difficult to defend claims. Trying to prove a negative is most difficult.
You have to wonder if these allegations are not politically motivated. We saw women make outrageous claims about Trump during the campaign. The woman who claimed she was molested in first class on a plane quickly comes to mind.
I guess when you can't win elections on the issues you have to resort to the old sexual scandal standby.

First I have heard of this. Interesting timing as he is being pushed for House Speaker. I'm with Gipper. Character assassination is in vogue right now.

As someone who has spent nearly 20 years in Alabama now, I can tell you that ole boy Roy was a real piece of **** with a God complex and those 'rumors' had followed him for a long, long time. It wasn't something that just conveniently popped up when the election came around. People just look the other way here sometimes, until they don't.

I guess there aren't a lot of swift boat captains in this thread.

Two of the primary accusers against Jordan seem to be toxic scum:

Certainly all this has ratched up since the Harvey Weinstein deal, people who just endured what ever happened to them even years ago now feel a need to come forward.

I did see in that original article that those accusers haven't exactly been pillars of the community. Not that it makes what they say automatically lies.

2 of them even called Jordan their friend in the article I posted.

But current climate is toxic for anybody who can be accused of even the slightest sexual impropriety in their past, even distant past.

That's the gospel. There was a gal a long time ago who ruined a very good friend of mine's life by accusing him of rape. He wound up winning, and additionally, it was proven that she was a liar. She ADMITTED LYING.

Recently on Facebook, I happened to catch her joining into one of those 'ME TOO' threads and I flat called her on her ******** regarding Gavin. The number of people who jumped my ass blindly was almost too great to count, but I don't give a ****. I'm all about the "Me Too" movement so long as ME is telling the truth. When dealing with things that happened a long time ago, the truth can be mighty blurry. Hell, even George Takai (sic?) got attacked by some dude months ago. He wound up coming out on the other side clean, but it still was attempted.

Just to complete the circle, the law firm representing some of the accusers is Perkins, Coie the same firm that was involved with the Trump dossier.

I believe about 10% of what I hear these days. And that's generous.

ha! He's enjoying his 'summer of no responsibility' in which he gets to work out, work at the local water park and hang out with his friends all he wants.

Today, we almost had to murder someone but the little **** got on his bike before I could pull him in. I wonder if the police took him in for questioning because they called me and asked me if I hit the suspect. I told them that I 'reached out to grab him and must have struck him in the face along the way.' That was good enough for them, but I still haven't heard anything back.

Carson, my trusty backup, was dead asleep because he got home at 5am. Ahhh to be young again.

Another allegation dating back decades. Hell, the alleged perpetrator has been dead 13 years.

I think its ********. Politically motivated like the allegations against Trump. All those women the DNC trotted out during the campaign disappeared like a fart in windstorm.
