Arkansas seems like the hot team right now along with Miss State.

Texas and Florida play today in an elimination game. Gators are the defending champions and I think the #1 overall seed aren't they? Texas has had such a good recovery season under our new coach that I'd hate to see them go 2 and out. Even if we do it looks like to me that Texas baseball is back.

Texas Tech is the other B12 team an gets Arkansas in the winners portion of the bracket, the loser drops down to play the winner of the Texas/Florida game.

Just curious what do you guys think of the Orgeon State pitcher who has a sex crime as a teenager? He was one of the top pitchers in college baseball this past season, some say he was the best. But he wasn't touched in the MLB draft and is out of collegiate eligibility and if he wants to play he has to hope somebody in maybe an independent league will give him a chance. But where ever he goes he's got that sex offender attached to him.

Pac 12 2 teams Oregon State/Washington ..both in the losers bracket and now Wash is out.

Big 12 2 teams, Texas and Texas Tech, Texas in losers bracket must bet UF. Tech plays Ark.

SEC 3 teams, MSU, Ark, and Fla. Gators are in the losers bracket vs Texas

ACC 1 team UNC ..beat Oregon State. Play Miss State next

Sex offender is one of those things that never leaves... because studies have shown it never leaves YOU.

The thing about the sex offender kid is this:

He denied it. His family claimed it was a payback type of thing in some sort of custody/family dispute issue. He denied it all along. However, due to Washington law he was faced with
    a. Taking the plea and then getting a sealed record if he complied with everything.
    b. Going to trial as an adult in a he said, she said thing in which he could face real prison time.

The kid took the deal. Now due to some snafu, his record wound up not getting sealed and the Oregon friendly Oregonian cracked the story. Once it became public, he said he didn't do it and he took the more favorable plea deal.

Now is he lying? Who knows. It's a screwed up situation because everything else about the kid says he's solid. But then again, Paterno.

Gators knock out Texas. Great season for the Longhorns, future is bright with David Pierce at the helm.

    Gators live for another day.

We play the loser of Texas Tech and Arkansas tomorrow and we still have a chance.

Some late season injuries have hurt our chances, but we aren't out yet.

Through 4 innings, Tech pitcher has a no hitter, and is losing to Florida 1 - 0.

Sounds like something the Aggies would do!

    :p

9-6 Gators. Now all we have to do is beat Arkansas twice. :(

But at least we have a shot.

Nice win yesterday by the Gators. As always coming through the losers bracket is always tough, you eventually have to beat a team twice like the Gators and it's not easy.

I see that MLB has scheduled a game next year in Omaha to sort of open the CWS, they say it's to put more light on the CWS. Personally I don't see the need for it, the CWS is and has been doing just fine without MLB.

Oregon State also from losers bracket has to beat Miss State twice to make the finals.

Could easily be an all SEC final, at the very least one SEC team will be in the finals. SEC maybe more dominant in baseball than in football.

Beavers pound Dawgs to force decisive game in their series. Gators Hogs are up next.

Gators come up short against the Hogs, who now get to sit back and rest their pitching while Miss State and Oregon State duke it out one more time. Look for both teams to throw Joey Fullstaff in their game.

We went to the Ark/Fla game last night. Forgot what the sound of Aluminum was like. Hog fans are way more colorful than Gator fans. I asked a few if the state right below us is Kansas or Kansaw.

Lou-a-vll. Not a typo. No vowel in the 3rd syllable.
