well it's the Rockets v Warriors. Even though the Rockets beat them 2 out of 3 in the regular season and had the best record in the NBA, most are saying it's the Warriors to the finals. Barkley said it could be 5 game series.

In the East it's Lebron vs the Celtics. Celtics really took care of business vs JoeL Embid and company, JoeL is fast becoming a great player but one who is seems to wear his feelings on his sleeve. Lebron had an incredible series v the Raptors. He's ready to make another finals. Kudo's to Celts coach Brad Stevens who when he left Butler I figured he'd last a year or two in the NBA but he and Danny Ainge seem to be a good combination of GM/HC.

Rockets addition of Chris Paul, which was panned as not a good deal back in October, come theme was that Harden has to handle the ball and so does Chris Paul and that would hurt Harden. Seems to have worked out though. I'll also say that the development of Clint Capella inside has been huge for the Rockets success.

Warriors are now Healthy with Step Curry and no doubt that their starting 5 is as good as there is and it'll will be a tough series for the Rockets. I like our bench better, but benches have a way of getting short this late in the game.

Celtics no doubt have the best coach...its amazing what they have done with their 3 all stars out all season...and Danny Ainge knows exactly who he wants every year!. ( Ill never forget the last minute ball hawking Danny did at the old Boston Garden when he single handedly beat Notre Dame in the NCAAs about 25 years ago playing for Brigham Young!)

He didn't get even one vote from his NBA peers for COY, and he handled it with humility and class.

Game 2 was pretty interesting as well. Anyone know what the Celtics record is when they lead a series 2-0?

Celtics held serve, that's what they are supposed to do...now it's up to Cleveland to hold serve at home to get it back to 2-2.

Rockets swamped the Warriors last night and they are 1-1, but that cost's them the home court advantage unless they can force a split at San Francisco.

holding serve is certainly one way of looking at it.

I usually root against any team from Boston but this Celtics club has won me over. Really admire their teamwork and unselfishness and tenacious defense. Ainge has made several terrific decisions as a GM but his hiring of Stevens was his most masterful one.

Have to give a lot of credit to Brad Stevens, he's a heck of a coach.

Rockets had a record blowout loss to the Warriors last night..ugh. I could see this series ending in 5 games if the Warriors take game 4 as well. If somehow the Rockets can force a split then it'll likely go the full 7.

Personally, I have always thought the NBA playoffs were orchestrated.

Cleveland gets crushed in the first two games. My son says that they will beat Boston by 30 points in Game three which is exactly what they did. I'm not sure NBA is not WWE in sneakers.

we'll know a lot more about that after tonight. There's no way Cleveland wants to go back to Boston to play with anything on the line in that game.

Right on schedule, Cleveland rises from the ashes. Remember, this was team that sucked for 82 games.

But the NBA must have Lebron in the Finals against Steph Curry. Boston is already gone, they just have to play out the string. Same goes for Houston.

The script is written. I watched it on ELJN Sportscenter.

Let's see how close I come.

Pretty much do or die for the Rockets in game 4, lose even if it's close, and the likely hood of being able to beat the Warriors 3 straight games is 0%.

so Krebbsie...just how is the NBA controlling this thing? Are the officials being involved? Are the players in on this? I think you are wrong on this comment. I believe that King James is just sooo good...until he retires he is KING and we will never see another like him. I sure hope my Celts bring it back for a game seven at The Garden.

Well, the Celtics put themselves in a good position if nothing else. If they can manage to win at Cleveland, it's over. In their last game at Cleveland, the difference was the 1st quarter. The Celtics outscored them for the remaining quarters in the game. But if the Celts fall in Cleveland, that gives you a Game 7 in Boston.

The only two words to describe how they looked last night were "sleepwalking" and "hangover".

Celtics beating them with a "get physical" mentality...Cavs are defending it with a "Oh, excuse me" mentality.

One would bet that this will be the Cavs best performance of the year. If it's not, maybe the Celtics steal one on the road finally?
