Tom, I think it is great that both you and Cindy have found a niche in your lives that you both enjoy. All the more power and fun for you both to enjoy!

Terry... actually that is not a paint job. The paint is factory "Ivory tri-coat Pearl". The graphics were added by Wrap Dynamics and the whole car was ceramic coated by American Iconz Detailing.

My Challenger is "Redline tri-coat Pearl" I decided to not add graphics to mine but it is also ceramic coated. Lifetime warranty on never needing to be waxed. It is so slick that a wrap would not stick to it now.

1414 hourses combined between the two.

Don, the ironic part is I was drag racing at the time Cindy and I met over 35 years ago. She became interested in racing only 6 years ago. We enjoy competing and she is getting better and better on the tree. It won't be long before she will be able to beat me.

For those of you not checking in on Facebook, I had my personal best run ever. I ran a 11.0662 second 125.28 mph 1/4 mile on this past Friday night. My previous 60ft personal best was 2.003 seconds and that run was 1.6999 seconds. I was running a kid in a turbo ricer with a mouth louder than his fart can muffler. I was extremely happy to quiet him down a bit! This was a factory stock2016 Hellcat Challenger with drag radial tires on the rear. I am on the official time slip list of hellcat runs at number 78 overall and number 2 for no mods to engine, transmission, drive shaft, rear gears, or rear axles. #1 ran a 10.995 second pass. I have found out that he has lightened the car (passenger seat and rear seat delete) and weighs a mere 110 pounds soaking wet himself. So, he has an advantage I can't overcome with only driver skills. 8) 8) 8)

Thanks Scott. I bought Cindy a set of 18" wheels and Nitto 05r drag radials. That one modification alone took 0.3 seconds off her ET. The help came from a taller sidewall to allow for more flex thus better hook up.

I am doing that for me now. 18" by 10" wide wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Streets in 305/45R18. There is no reason that I should not break into the 10 second realm with this change. I expect to see times around the 10.8 second mark or lower.

I am having fun with this and Cindy is as well. Can't wait to be able to walk without the aid of a cane where I have full mobility and the ability to do whatever maintenance is needed on our cars.
