I don't know about you guys, but I am looking forward to the HBO movie Paterno starring Al Pacino. I'll be very interested to see how they handle this movie. There's still the Penn State fan base who just refuse to believe despite the mountain of evidence, and then there's the rest of the country. People who like who thought JoePa was a God, but found out that he was just a man. A very flawed man and that's our fault. He was always just a man. Pacino is world class, and he doesn't half-ass roles. Like I said, I'll be very interested to see how this is handled.
I had a Penn State alum who worked with me for 25 years. He was well connected up there. He talked about the Sandusky rumors long before that case broke wide open; years before. I also had a former player here for a year or two. He also talked openly about it. The question is did Joe know about what was going on and covered it up. If he did, that is an unforgiveable sin.
