Well I'm pretty shocked at the outcome of the B12/SEC Challenge. I thought the Big 12 teams would wipe the court with the SEC teams...pretty much the opposite happened SEC 7 B12 3.

Short handed Irish played tough again and lost again. Injuries have killed this season.

Texas got a great game from Mo Bamba and destroyed Ole Miss in one of the few bright spot for the B12.

I watched NC State v UNC and Duke v UVA. It was two of the best played games I have seen in a long time.

Sid the next Rick Mount might be developing in some small Indiana town called Hartford City.

Pretty interesting article. Everybody loves a phenom, well till he/she isn't! :)

It's a very interesting story about a kid who was home schooled until HS and truly is a young phenom. Equally interesting is the story of the 83 year old coach, which is included in the article. It's a true "Hoosiers" kind of story. Only in Indiana. :D

Huge game for the Longhorns tonight if they hope to make the NCAA. They are at Texas Tech. Then OU comes to Austin. Win both of those and NCAA hopes are high, lose both and it'll be a struggle.

I see that AJ's Tarheels are on a 3 game losing streak, that's very unusual for a UNC team. I wonder if they'll stick in the top 25?

He needs to jump aboard the Nebraska basketball train. Most pundits picked them to finish near the bottom of the BT but they are surprising the experts and have a real shot of getting into the NCAA tourney.

    Heel nation will rise again!!

    Re: Nebrasketball

Bobda!!....I'm trying to get excited about that train, but in my lifetime it only goes around the block.

I do however have 4 tics to the Maryland game....they were free.

Tough loss for the Longhorns last night at Texas Tech, took them to OT but ultimately it was failure to make FT's when it counted that cost them the game.

I have a hard time seeing this team beating OU at home this Sat...bad week for the Longhorns.

Alabama beats Oklahoma and then can't hit the broad side of a barn against Missouri.

uh oh...Rick Barnes has run a foul of the NCAA. In trying to do a good thing he violated some rule, he supplemented the pay of one of his assistants who he felt deserved more money but the Vols said it wasn't in the budget.

Sometimes NCAA rules are laughable. How this could be a violation is beyond me.

Congrats Tom... your girls took a close game, and ran away with it at the end.

Tip of the hat to the Lady Vols!

Thanks Scott. Did you watch the game? Both teams scoring at will in the 1st 2 quarters. 3rd quarter saw both teams almost unable to score. I can't remember how many times the lead changed at that point but it must have been close to a record. In quarter 4, the Lady Vols out lasted the Aggies and pulled away in the last 5 minutes of the game. Until that point, I was envisioning a repeat of the game in College Station. You have an excellent point guard that we just couldn't stop. She was carrying the team in the 1st half and then looked to be gassed. I would love to have her on our team.

Well, Dr Jekyll showed up yesterday. Alabama beat Florida. Great second half for the Tide. Go figure?
