Incredible 1st half by Miami. Their defensive line speed shut down ND's running game.

No doubt, Miami is the fastest defense we have played and they have no fear of our passing game. They are overwhelming our OL.

I don't know what we can do in the 2nd half. If they go back to Wimbush as anybody can see he just isn't a good passer and the backup is a better passer but he has no experience so Miami can tee off on him.

Not to get ahead too far, based on what I am seeing tonight Miami should win out, I don't think Clemson can handle their defense.

Very impressed with the Canes on defense.

Ralphie boy, your team was superior to us in every category... from the cheerleaders to the head coach.

That was a total beatdown in every facet of the game. Your crushed us... good luck the rest of the way. Root for us in the Goody's Headache Powder Bowl.

Congrats to the Canes. They played great and didn't turn the ball over. They completely stuffed the Irish rushing attack.

Was that the longest game or what....It wouldn’t end...

Thank you gents, they brought their A-game tonight, one that hasn’t been seen in a long time against a good team. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop after halftime...I was really proud of our lack of penalties and the crowd did their part...

    Well fudge....

This one was pretty easy to analyze. Miami has some things that we don't have: like a QB. Wimbush is good enough to beat most teams, but he's not a good enough passer to beat a fast/talented defense. We need a better QB to take a NC. Kelly paid a big price today for having only one experienced passer. I whined after every game this year that Ian Book should have been in there, mopping up all those blow-outs, but Kelly didn't put him in. We needed him today, but he was too inexperienced to help us...

McGlinchey is still not a LT. People have been running around him all year and today they were running by him like he was standing still. He will be a RT in the NFL and he should stick around another year. He's not ready.

Georgia looks pretty dumb today. Tell me again why they got rid of Richt? He out-coached Kelly today, every which way but loose...

Ralph, I can not stay up that late anymore, belated congratulations on a huge win for the Canes. Good luck in the remaining games.

JO'Co is right, Wimbush is good enough to beat most teams, but teams with big, fast and athletic defenses that can afford to say go ahead and throw we don't think you can do it and we're coming after you he is not good enough.

Our running game didn't dent the UGA defense and it didn't dent the Miami defense.

Whether Book is the answer I don't know. But Wimbush absolutely has to get better in the off season at throwing the football or this will be the way things go in big games against teams with great defenses.

I do wonder though if Adams is OK, he didn't finish this game either.

We all worried about our defense before the season, and teams have finally figured us out and Elko can't cover up our DL anymore. WR's are making plays on our DB's as well. You can run the middle and you can absolutely throw on us, we are not consistently getting any pass rush.

We really had no chance last night. The combination of the tremendous energy in the stadium, and the way Miami came to play was just too much. They feed off of each other.

Like all games, this one was decided up front on both sides. JO'Co is right on point with McGlinchey. Our O-Line was manhandled, something that I did not think was possible. From that point it was the domino effect.

When you force Wimbush to pass we have a big problem. He is just not an accurate passer and Miami was quick enough to take his feet away from him as well.

The four turnovers led directly to 24 points.

I have always been a fan of Mark Richt. I like the way he runs a game and the way he carries himself on the sideline. On a day when Georgia took a similar beating their fans had to watch their spurned coach in his glory. He has really turned this program around fast.

Mcglinchey has no more eligibility. Nelson has a year but if he has earned his degree my guess is that he will leave. he is much more ready than McGlinchey.
