Sid, I do not see a way to move a post from one topic to another. I am just copying and pasting to here then will delete the original...

Oops! Just realized I should have posted this in ND vs. Southern Cal Topic. Moderators, would you mind moving it there? Thanks.

Here is an excellent (IMO) article by Eric Hansen of the SBT. It compares the 2017 team with the 2012 team and highlights team stats on both offense and defense compared to 2012 and where the team currently stands in each category among FBS programs.

Irish picked up a local kid , Paul Moala, from Mishawaka Penn HS...Mike Rosenthal was from Penn if I remember correctly.

He's not highly ranked but he came to the Irish Invasion and the coaches loved him and offered him after that. He's a 3 star with a so so offer list. Although according to Irish Sports Daily, Neb has offered (Bob Diaco).

But this is a case where after seeing what I see from Elko and his area is DB's/Safeties I'm going to trust coach Elko. Plus Elko has been used to evaluating under the radar guys at Wake Forrest and making them into good college players so again I'm trusting him on this one.

I was reading some of the recruits comments after the game and one of our top if not our top remaining OL targets is Nicholas Petit-Frer was maybe the most laid back don't say anything guy I've heard.

<t>Well if Elko thinks the kid is worth a scholie it’s hard to be critical at this point. The way he has turned the defense around so rapidly who can complain?</t>
