For three weeks, going to three Gator games, LSU, Texas A& M and George. Between the Aggie and Bulldog games we will spend a week on a cruise to the Western Caribbean. Then back to North Carolina. We gave up our season tickets this year but our daughters got us these three tickets to spend Sat with them at the game. And we have three Grandchildren in the Gator marching band.
Well the game wasn't wet but the Gators were not good. http://heismanhousephotos.com/media.php?l=VFFB&select&m=531_0427_124844134_728 http://heismanhousephotos.com/media.php?l=VFFB&select&m=531_0426_124818762_187 http://heismanhousephotos.com/media.php?l=VFFB&select&m=530_0621_104650099_844
No Tebow was not in the car, we had a choice of a number of Heisman trophy winners through the years. Spurrier was not on the list. Danny Wuerffel was there and my daughter got her hat signed. I tried to post the pictures without having to use a link but it wouldn't work.
Well after that game, the next weekend we got to see the Gators lose on a game ending field goal to Texas A & M. But the good news is that we then went on a week long cruise and had a great time. We are now back in Kissimmee at our daughters house. We leave tomorrow for Jacksonville to spend a week with our other daughter in Florida and attend the Florida - Georgia game. That promises to be ugly for us. But hope springs eternal. Then either next Sunday or Monday we head back to North Carolina. Not a very productive trip for Gator football but the cruise made up for it.
... and what cruise line. Back in 2000, Cindy and I took Royal Caribbean out of Miami. Galveston is the only other port we have sailed from to go to the Caribbean and we take Royal Caribbean there as well.
