    Scott,

The upside is, you won't face another Rosen all season.

You guys came out of the gate and just played lights out. You could not have looked better and Mazzone was just a warlock with the play calls. I think that young freshman QB you'll be playing, if he can throw the ball (which now falls on Mazzone to figure out how to get him to do that), is a much better runner than your starter. That kid was a legit threat to the perimeter each time he tucked it.

I don't mean to sound like a Bama fan, but I'm not sure why you guys just didn't keep pounding away. Sure, the UCLA defense had FINALLY made some adjustments but you were still moving the ball. It was more 3 yards and a cloud of dust type of running instead of big, explosive plays, but it was still moving the ball (and more important, running the clock).

When we scored at the end of the 3rd, I thought A&M wouldn't give us the chance because they'd just run the ball till we ran out of time. Their commitment to throwing the ball with a huge lead left way too much time on the clock. The set themselves up to be in a shoot out.

I think you guys will bounce back from this. You look like a real good team. Rosen almost pulled off the come back last year. This year, he did.

Hindsight is always 20-20 but you have to wonder if instead of a pass on 3rd down that resulted in a sack they had just run the ball and kick the FG if they don't make it. Would have been a lot shorter.

While maybe Mond is a a good passer, it didn't look like it. Teams will just load the box and dare him to throw it.

    Corey,

As I said above... Sumlin gave us a lot to second guess, and you hit on one of the biggies.
    As Kyle would say:
    RUN THE DAMN BALL!

Agree, that there won't be another QB on our sched who can carry a team like that.

I'm not on the ledge as most of my brethren are. I saw a lot of good from that team. Much more than was said to be there by our "kindly" Texas media.
Mond is not ready for the speed of the passing defenses just yet.
He is a good passer, but you have to know where and when. He ain't there right now.
Luckily, we've got some cream puffs for a few weeks to try to get him at least partially there.

    Terry ,
Yep... that was ANOTHER of the questionable decisions.
    RUN THE DAMN BALL!
Lots of head scratching, but hey... it's college ball.
We've got 11 more to go, and I plan to enjoy the season even if the other Aggies can't.
(getting older is good for some things!)

Not true at all Scott. Tennessee isn't on your schedule at all, much less the next few weeks! :?

I'm sorry to hear about your QB. Thankfully, you've got a bump in the schedule that should afford you some time to get the kid comfortable. I still think you guys will be fine.

Why is there no call for that Regent to be replaced? That was a bush league move.

Tonight before the Dodgers game, pitcher Ross Stripling gave interviews to reporters wearing a UCLA jersey and hat. He's a former player at Texas A&M. He had lost a bet with former Bruins Dave Roberts and Chase Utley...

    Corey.

There have.been some calls for Buzbee's head.
There was no scenario in which that was even remotely acceptable.
    What a douche.
    :x

JO'Co. Wonder if they had a similar bet last year?

    :D

I think they did and both sides argue over Kershaw, who was on his way to Texas A&M when the Dodgers intervened with tons of cash...
