    Yeah I don't think that's very common in Texas, I've never seen it around here...but then we don't have much farmland in the Greater Houston area.

    You can definitely tell that football season is coming soon, the XM radio College Sports channel is all about the 2017 season. They have all the SEC coaches on everyday, and talk all the time about the season.

    I have to ask, why is SEC Media Day always in Hoover Alabama? Wouldn't someplace in Atlanta be more central and accessible for the media and coaches? What's in Hoover?

    The SEC headquarters are in Birmingham. Hoover is a suburb and there is large hotel in the Galleria mall in Hoover.

    I'm fairly sure that at some point in time, they will move SEC media days to Atlanta or Nashville. As KP pointed out, Hoover is next to the SEC HQ in Birmingham. Remember, the original SECCG use to be played in Birmingham until B'ham blew that opportunity as well.
