Red Sox operating with ONE O N E ML PITCHER.. no third baseman ( catcher had to play third 2 nites ago)..several in and out of DL..and a handful of AAA players.....and.....Who is in first?
The Red Sox certainly are playing well. They have some excellent everyday players (Bogart, Betts, etc.) and they may be getting Rodriguez back in early July, which would give them 2 ML pitchers. Don't know if Price can get back to his old self. That's a tough situation.
Please don't cry about pitching when the Astros top 3 pitchers are on the sidelines and the other guys can't go more than 4-5 innings...bullpen arms are about to fall off. Sox looked pretty good here in Houston last weekend.
Tribe went into the World Series (actually all of the playoffs missing two) missing three of their starting pitchers...took the Cubbies to extra innings in game 7.
