Since my baseball team is dropping into the grease to close the season, I'm going to jump on the Softball bandwagon.

The Lady Aggies were seeded 9th to start out the postseason and will now travel to Knoxville to face 8th Seeded Tennessee.
This is a unique team, in that almost the entire roster is underclassmen and will be eligible to return next season - including all 4 starting pitchers!

    Get ready Vols:

Gators play Alabama, so that will be at least two SEC teams in the Finals.

You forgot to mention that you beat the Longhorns to get there, you're slipping! 8)

Ah Terry, I only talk about the important stuff.

Bill... assuming we both win, the Aggies will face the Gators first in the Women's College World Series. The Gators were the #1 seed.

    Yes they are Kp.

I saw my first Gator Lady softball game in person earlier this year. I really enjoyed.

    They certainly rolled last night.

Our pitcher, Kelly Barnhart, is in the running for player of the year, but she misplayed three bunts in the same inning that lead to the three runs Bama scored.

It's unbelievable but the Tide has not given up a run for close to 30 innings.

Gators need two in a row.

    Go Gators.

we watched Auburn simply because my wife's cousin plays for them. It's amazing how the quality of this sport has grown over the years.

Gators beat Mama 2-1 to advance and Oklahoma beat Auburn to advance.

    Go Gators

I agree Corey it has really grown. We attended our first game earlier this year and really enjoyed it.

The Aggies rally to take the 2nd and 3rd games in Knoxville and will face the Gators in the first round of the WCWS.

    Let's get it on!

First day, Gators beat the Aggies and LSU upsets UCLA.

Florida and LSU meet in the second round tomorrow.

Two more games today I believe but they were after these two and I don't think are finished yet.

Big win for the Gators Bill, congrats.

I take solace in the knowledge the Aggies started slowly in the super regional but put it together after that first game.
    Hopefully they bounce back again.
