Rev up those black copters because the distrust of the crooked ACC officiating is rampant in Gator country for the game this coming Sat. with ACC refs officiating for the first time since the infamous "Swindle in the Swamp"
    of 2003.

This is a small sample of what is being said on Gator message boards:

"Childress will pull out every trick and call to get his beloved noles a win in this game. He's worth at least 14 points to f$u."

Childress of course is the gang leader who masterminded the Swindle vs. UF and was Bobby's head henchman in 2003.

"If you ain't getting caught, you ain't cheatin' enough."

I'd say you're right. If I was an official assigned to this game and caught wind of the Gators accusations even before the game has started, I would be hard pressed not to make an example out of them.

If you feel that you were wronged, you don't make it any better for yourselves by antagonizing those that could make it bad for you again.

Just an opinion from a unbiased objective observer.

I don't think that makes a difference Tom. They will do what they do regardless.

They are shameless by the way the ACC office handled the last debacle without apology or acceptance of what occurred..

It should be interesting to see what happens. My feeling is that if they don't try to ref a decently called game and instead they even approach what happened in 2003 that UF should drop the a**holes from the schedule and go up north once every other year and whip up on some Yankee a** just to satisfy the Skyboxers here.

    ....

    <t>you're angry.

You just played Carolina beauty college. You now get to play a team from a conference that you consider a joke who is ranked 5th in their division and about 9th overall. You get rewarded after that by playing in a conference title game against a team that gave up 50 at home to a member of a 'wussy conference'.

You're sitting pretty. All you need to do is get Tommy Barhardt or someone else to come up with a catchy tagline to refer to that 3 game run and you're all set.

Why go upstairs and beat them Yankee boys when you never have to play them?

Remember, even the great Coach Lee's Army of Virginia lost when they took their act north on the road. I have no idea if the officials were from PA though.</t>

Hopefully UF will get them Yankee boys down in Nawlins if the Gators can take care of business.

Unlike last time I think Florida would consider playing ND a great opportunity and a very worthy opponent going into the game instead of only thinking that afterwards.

    :p
    re: wussy conference

8 of the 10 teams in the wussy conference are now bowl eligible. If they played in the South, they'd be given bowl games in their home stadiums...

If you don't beat FSU by at least 30-0, then you should be ashamed.

I would take a 3 point win Tally.

Now...to stay in BCS NC contention certainly a 30 point win would be great but check out that photo I posted of Booker's fumble that wasn't called and you tell me if the ACC refs will allow Florida to run away with this one.

Wake Forrest beat them 30-0 at Tally, Western Freakin' Michigan had'em on the ropes in Tally. This is your best chance ever for a big win in Tally., they are lousy, they are poorly coached and they have likely quit as a team. Did I mention that Jeff Bowden still calls the offensive plays?

Spurrier would hang 50 on this FSU team no doubt.

Meyer's offense just can't seem to get that done.

I think 35-17 would be a good win here.
