Yeah, I did see that. Some guys should just stick to playing in the band. :)

Tribe 3-0. Beat Texas with a grand slam by Lindor in the top of the ninth.

Don't want to rush to judgement and accuse Cardinals' pitchers of doctoring the ball, but is it normal for a ball to stick to a catcher's chest protector?

Happens all the time Bobda...has something to do with the rawlings chest protector in cooler, balmier temps....some kind of chemical reaction from the material its made from.

I happened to be watching the game at that moment. It was a dropped third strike, and the batter made 1st base while Molina was looking all around him on the ground. It was really funny. Molina couldn't help laughing about it.

    re: Molina

One thing is for sure. The pitchers on that team don't have to doctor the ball. I'm sure Mr. Molina takes care of everything...

Today my spies are at Dodger Stadium for Jackie Robinson Day. We saw them on TV earlier. They're sitting between home plate and first base...

My great-grandson (age 2) came in this morning to show me his blue Dodger shoes that he's wearing to the game...

Dodgers still having problems with left handed pitchers...

Cardinals are in a heap of trouble. They have no hitting right now, TBA is .212

Right now they are 3-9, not good but not something that they can't make up. But if they go through April at the bottom it then becomes a fight to just make it back to .500. I went through that last year with the Astros. Horrible April just killed us, took everything they had to get back to .500 and then the law of averages starts to kick in and we just couldn't maintain it.

Cards are uninspired for some reason. Had a good spring...but April has sucked.

Yes I watched 2 competitive games....Sunday night was batting practice.[/b]

Don't the Cards have issues in the bullpen as well? Looks like another year of eating the Cubs dust! :(

Don't be so sure. It's a marathon not a sprint, but the Cubs are out of the gate much slower than last season. In fact, after 12-13 games, they're ahead of the Cardinals by a hair and behind the other 4 NLC teams.

hmmm didn't realize the Cubs weren't off to a good start...so what's wrong with the Cubs?

Yankee's are rocking along now that they dumped their Sr. Citizens on the Astros! :)

Astro's are certainly having a good April, unlike last April when we couldn't hit and our pitchers couldn't get anybody out.

I'll learn more about last-place Frisco when the Dodgers visit the Bay later this week. What I know for sure is that their manager Bruce Bochy had heart surgery and Bumgarner is out for months after crashing his dirt bike...

Anybody see the play tonight in the Astros/Cleveland game where Jose Altuve collided with the Right Fielder Toscar Hernandez? I'd be curious to see what JO'Co, Corey, Sid, Krebs think went wrong and who had the "right of way" in this case?
