USC is starting to keep the home boys home and they are even landing some kids outside the state. That was a young team that just added a lot of young talent.

Jeez... a dead cat could recruit talent to USC. There is so much in So.Cal and they really don't want to leave and the USC network is pretty damn strong. All they need is somebody to coach them competently. I think after a rough start where USC fans were ready to fire him after 4 games and there were reports of fights at practice etc...Helton losing control etc. But after that he got stronger and stronger as the season rolled on. I predict he's going to be like John Robinson, the first time not the 2nd time.

Florida has three annual opponents ( 4 if you count either Bama, LSU or Auburn in the SEC Title game  ) in that composite top ten ahead of the #10 Gators and next year in Gainesville we have Texas A&M (at #12).

Damn that schedule just doesn't get any easier.

Yeah I think it was the new qb that said Saban never promised him anything other than he would get a chance to compete for the starting job. I'm hoping the competition will get us a better offense.

I didn't realize that you had 2 QB's coming in this class. Good thing those other guys left or you'd be overstocked at QB for sure.

BTW what are the rumors on who will be your next OCoord?

    Terry,
One Qb transferred early in the season. The kid from Hawaii has been a
Pretty solid commit for a while. The other 2 qb's announced their transfers in November. I have not heard any serious names for OC, but this one probably won't be an ex-PAC 12 HC.

16 of Alabama's 26 2017 recruits are already enrolled in classes and will participate in spring practice. This seems unusually high. Is everyone getting this?

That is a lot of early enrolled kids. I think Scott said the Ag's had 11.

I'm not surprised if there is a trend for these kids to do this, the highly rated players all want to play as freshmen and become stars early so they can build their worth for leaving early for the NFL

Don that was always one thing that Urban has always excelled at with the early enrollment. I also believe it's been one of his secrets to success...
