    It wasn't too hard to know this was coming with the prospects of driving distance Alabama and Clemson vying for the national title here in Tampa but ticket prices will be at an all time high:

    Fervent fan bases, driving accessibility, limited capacity and Clemson showing it belongs by whipping OSU last Saturday are all factors driving up ticket prices by the hour.

    Yesterday seats on the 30 yard line on Stub Hub were $7100.00 each

    yeah it would be fun, but the view will be better from my chair in the den and I have to pay for that seat anyway! :wink:

    I would hate to be the fan-a-tic who sprung for 4 seats on the 30 plus 3 night minimum hotel at $350.00 per night for a total trip cost of over $30,000.00 and then have his team pull a Debbie downer and lose the game.

    Damn that would suck.
