Fla vs FSU

Anyone else surprised that LSU could play so well vs. Texas A&M on a short week after that intense loss to Fla last Sat.? I expected them to come out a little flat but they rolled from the start.

I can only hope that UF plays with the same intensity tonight vs. FSU.

Last week is over so it's time to take on the noles and I hope that's the focus of the Gators tonight. My feeling is that Florida does show up with some fire in their belly and they give FSU a very competitive game.

If the Gators can duplicate some of that intensity from last Sat I think they win.... 24-17 UF

 

Personally, I think they **** the bed against you guys. I was a bit surprised at the distance, but not so much by the win. When they get good QB play, they kill people.

People made a big deal out of them not having Fourni at 100%, or at all, but the biggest loss for them against you (IMHO) was there 2 LBs. Their defense is just entirely different without Beckwith and that other dude. To me, that's the real story.

 

Worst stretch of sorry offense I can ever remember from all my years of watching the Gators. This has been going on for 7 years now.
Oh well.... At least Tenn isn't going to the Sugar Bowl.
I don't think the SEC will have a team worthy of that bid now except maybe LSU.

 

Gator defense is really pretty darn good, but no support to speak of from the offense.

 

Where is the disgust for Dave's obvious hatred for Tennessee? I crack an election joke and am called on it faster than a SEC ref calls holding. He celebrates Tennessee's loss when it helps his Gators not.

I can see where the loyalties are placed here.

I would say the same thing if it was Georgia that was denied the Sugar Bowl Tom..... maybe more so. Just kind of a bitch to win the East but because you have to play a very tough game on the road against a non-conference rival like FSU you then see your SEC division rivals get all the bowl spoils when they didn't even win the division.

Then again UF doesn't need to step over it's head and get clobbered in a better bowl like UM did to Fla in the Citrus Bowl last year because the Gators are a one dimensional team.... defense but zero offense.

We have lost several good people here due to the antics of one person.

We can't afford to for anymore to go. Every time I read a post from him I am reminded of his hatred for anything Tennessee.

Tom.... If I would have said I would hate to see one of our SEC East rivals one up us in bowl selection because we had to play at FSU so I was glad that was no longer a possibility would that have been better or would you have still taken it personal and contended it was slanted solely at Tenn?
