Week 14, next week is the last week. If I am right about 9 games, that is 45 possible points. Only enough for one of the present top 3 to win. Also, 1st through 3rd would only be possible from the top 4 positions. It has been a pleasure holding this contest for this group. I will probably miss running it next year but on to participation sports that give me more pleasure and sense of accomplishment.

I was incorrect on my projection... There are 16 games this week: 136 points available. This means that it is mathematically possible to win from 5th place in last week's standings. 8th place last week could possibly win 3rd place honors. Two Friday games this week!
If it happens once. it is an error or mistake. If it happens more than once, the member has given up and quit playing. Anyone that has not received the "weekly insurance points" before and didn't play today, will still get 10 below the lowest. Anyone that has received it before will be out of luck this week.
Top three positions are now only attainable by kp, I gotta football Jones, and Lady Vol. kp and I are tied for 1st right now but he has 4 more points available to him and we have the same teams picked. If either one of us score 4 more points, Lady Vol can only get to a possible finish of 2nd place.
With the Arkansas State win, Lady Vol cannot progress higher that 3rd. She has 3rd place solidified. Also, with the conclusion of that game, i am one point ahead of kp. However, with the available pints, he has the inside track to 1st place finish.
