That's Situational Report for you civilians.....wait a minute...I's be one of those critters now!.... How's this for a career change!! FROM MARINE GREEN TO THE PUTTIN' GREEN!! Tucson is a pretty interesting place so far. Houses are considerably more than Missouri, but I'll find something. Speaking of Missouri......HOW 'BOUT THEM CORNHUSKERS BABY!!!!! My condolences Scott, TxA&M had that game in the bag...but I guess Sooner Magic has been replaced by HUSKERMIRACLES!!!  BTW, late posting here......GIPPA, BOBDA, JIFFA!!!!! HOW 'BOUT THEM CARDINALS BABY!!!!! I've got a new e-mail addresses for those that give a sh!# AJ&SADDLEBROOKE.ORG RICKO!! When is you parents gonna invite me over for chow? When you coming down? BTW Congrats to your 'Cats win over the Bears. That game was on next to the Nebr game that the Southern Arizonians for Nebraska club had on PPV at the Fox and Hound. Yes, I stumbled across folks from the Motherland....There was about 85-90 of us there. I'm feeling very at home down here!! One last thing, about that semi important Big Ten game this weekend..... Michigan by 4..... Talk to ya later 'Boxers!!!!
Huskerman... <t>Still basking in the glow of the Cards title. UPS showed up at my door last night w/ 120.00 worth of Nike championship gear. Ain't life great?</t>
I'm not going to be in Phoenix until Mon. Hear that it's sunny and in the low 80's. Sounds like my disposition and golf score.
Hey AJ, Glad to see you're liking the Naked Pueblo so far. I'm hoping to make it out there in January or February for a couple of days. Thanks for the conrats on the Cal game. The Cats are feeling good after wins over Wazzu and the Bears, but they've been mostly doing it with defense. The O-line is getting better, but the offense still struggles.
I picked AZ over OR in the Skybox poll. They're on a roll. However, I'm in the lower half of the standings, so what do I know?
Tom, Thanks for the editing. Just talked to GORT this morning, he's gettin' ready to transfer from Ft. Wood to I-I Nashville. He's exicited about going home. Rick, Look forward to shaking your hand again. BTW, I always wandered about your Skybox name, but never asked you about it. I was reading this morning in a Tucson guide about the U of A, and it was about the Band leader (LEE?) that passed away last year. He was the Band Dir from 1952 - 1980, and was the one who wrote the AZ fight song "Bear Down AZ"......now I know......and that's the rest of the story folks.
Hey AJ, how's you game these days. No more foul balls into the stands in left I hope. And while we're at it, how's the good golfer in the family doing? Tougher state competition I bet.
Sid - Arizona has won two consecutive games against ranked opponents, but both were probably guilty of looking past the Wildcats. Oregon's Autzen Stadium is considered one of the tougher Pac-10 stadiums, Arizona's leading receiver and kick returner Steptoe injured his ankle during the Cal game, and Oregon's QB Dixon is a scrambler, which can present problems for the Wildcat D. Steptoe is supposed to play in the game and there's been talk in Oregon that they might start Brady Leaf (yep, he's related to Ryan), a drop-pack passer instead. We'll see how things go, but Arizona will get my 15 points no matter what. I'm sure I'm trailing you.
Gipper!! You wouldn't believe the beautiful fade I have now..... The Pro I'm under has given me great attention and swing changes the last week. I'm stickin' to them even though I feel off-balance alot of the time. BTW, I'm hittin' my 9 iron about 155 with no effort at all. You just wait till I get ahold off your ass next time we play.....
Great story about the origin of "Bear Down", Rick. Thanks. By the way, are you going to let us in on the part that's left out?
I'll be in Scottsdale next week. I like Arizona. The ball goes a lot further there. I heard about one guy who used to hit his 9 iron 120 who now hits it 155. <G>
I would watch out when getting on the course with huskerman!! He helped me out a lil with some tips but I still couldn't beat Taylor "Tiger" Martin
