Kesley, Mizzou has not really integrated into the SEC. I'm not sure many would notice if they left. Arkansas does fit in better.
kp - the sec might be willing to do without mizzou, i doubt mizzou would leave. It seemed like they had more success in the sece than they had in the b12n, plus they get 10M per year more than they would in the b12.
Kesley, yeah they just to not have caught on. When I watch them it just seems like an out of conference game. :?
An excellent read: http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/17734106/the-original-spygate-most-hateful-year-oklahoma-texas-rivalry
I think part of the 'problem' with Missou is that they really don't belong in the East. Honestly, Auburn belongs in the East and Missou belongs in the West. Missou has had success in the SEC East and they are getting paid well, so I doubt they are complaining about the move and would have no desire to go back to the Big12.
Insane playing conditions in the Hurricane Bowl between ND and NCS. Every attempt to pass the ball looks like a car crash waiting to happen.
Our local sports radio has been all over Florida regarding the LSU game. They even had the LSU AD on who spelled it out pretty clearly that they offered to play the game Sunday, they could pay for Florida to come to Louisiana. He was also careful to mention, repeatedly, that Louisiana is no stranger to dealing the hurricanes, storms and disasters. According to him, the game was a go on Wednesday and Foley seemed negotiable Thursday, but quickly moved to cancel the game. Basically, he wanted to make it pretty clear that LSU would have done anything to play this game and now it appears that it may not happen at all. The SEC needs to step in and make this happen.
They just had the SEC commissioner on the TAMU game and he waffled on every question they asked him about the situation.
How is it ND has to go to places like Clemson last year and NC State this year and play in abysmal conditions and Fla. can just cancel a game that would have been played on a beautiful fall day?
Yikes Navy up on Houston 34-20 midway through the 3rd qtr. I saw this as big UH whupping of the Middies.
Terry, Houston beat Oklahoma, but who else have they played? I'm surprised so far just not real surprised. :?
Another Vol turnover, it's like the ball is greased for the Vols or they are playing in driving rainstorm.
Aggies just hanging on, it's been all Tenn in the 2nd half..but turnovers have kept the points off the board.
Wow I almost typed that the bad Trevor showed up for A&M today..then he rips off a TD run to pretty much seal the game. His passing game still was very average today.
