    This came out Nov 9th: Irish as usual come out very well. One thing that is clear is that is that the Irish continue to be one of the top 10 athletic programs in this area. And it doesn't make any difference who the coach is at the time. When chatting about this with Texas fans, they universally blame it on Mackovic as these stats reflect the last couple of years of his tenure and the start of Macks tenure. They usually say that Mackovic brought some unsavory types into the program and that the expectation is that when these reports reflect 100% of Macks kids a big improvement will be made. I assume that a lot of fans of other schools with bad grad rates will make the same rationalization. Shouldn't really have anything to do with the coach, he's not in charge of admissions and he's not incharge of the academic support program.

    How'd that old Elvis song go? "A little less education, a little more action..." How come were up there with football factories like Duke, Stanford and Northwestern?
