She's so brilliant she flunked the DC Bar Exam. She was so dishonest she was fired from the Watergate Commission. She was so inept that her attempt to revamp the medical system under Bill went no where. She has such contempt for the people of the US that when she left the White House she and Bill stole $180,000 worth of china and furniture. And some people will vote her back in the White House? Talk about dull witted.
Oh and Will would have been happy with Bush getting the nomination. Think about that Dave (through the dullness.)

Let's remove our self from the tar pits of American politics for a minute and speak about the current health (Or lack of) of the political system as a whole.

The voting entity we call Americans are so fed up with the current system that we now have Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as the final candidates. My gosh how screwed up is that and what fine choices (Can I go puke now). Clinton has so much baggage over her career that it will take more than one of the Air Force One jets to help carry it.

Trump is so egotistical that he has his own fleet of jets to help carry his ego.

We had "Feel the burn" Sanders who was kicked out of his commune push Clinton so far with his socialistic agenda that Karl Marx was tap dancing in his casket.

The misfit Republican party attempt to use a cookie cutter candidate to shove their prototypes down Americans throats was such a bad idea none of them even made it to the end of the race. This in spite of a war chest so huge we could have paid off a good portion of the National Debt.

This tit for tat he said she said game we all grew up with is so outdated its become a bore. These candidates really suck, no matter how you spin the PR machine. Instead of attempting to fix our issues we get more of the same but worse, so bad we put our country in a weak position.

I have real fear for the Republic and real fear that the ideologies are so far apart that the concept of meeting in the middle is an ancient thought process...

Don't worry Ralph, soon there will be no competing ideologies.
Social engineering through the internet/phone apps is working beautifully and a majority the kids coming up now are all well programmed.
Even those in my own house shock me on a regular basis with what they believe to be true "because they read it on the net"...

Great post Ralph although I think Trump and Clinton differ greatly as one is truly an outsider... and a green one at that whereas one is a complete product of the system and baggage or not has a wealth of inside international knowledge and otherwise.

Some of that baggage is made heavier by the media age we are immersed in.... as we are reminded every day of it until it takes on a bigger role.... a life of it's own. It's a sort of brainwashing.... a bombardment of the senses that goes on perpetrated by those with agendas to do so.

No argument from me on this, Trump is first a businessman and capitalist and pretty much not a politician. Clinton is a battle hardened politician, not a businessman and has capitalized on books and speeches (Yeah that was wrong to add but true).

As person who manages a business Trump would easily be the first choice I would consider as this is what he does.

As a person who thinks the idea of building a wall and deporting 11 million people borders on insanity Clinton would make the better choice because she would not jeopardize her reputation as a statesman. Trump doesn't give two shyts what you or I think. Clinton thinks how can I gain ground by making a decision in this..

Either way both of the above choices do not in the end represent me or my beliefs. We are back to choosing the lesser of two evils. Which in the end is what most elections boil down to don't they....

I long for the day when both parties could meet in the middle and work out a percentage of the issues at hand, I am not novice enough not to understand politics are always at play.

You hit on something powerful and that is the bombardment of the senses by those with agendas. We are immersed in the non-stop media driven goo called news on a minute by minute basis. Hell, I was raised I am not to judge as that comes from an eternal source but when 35% of the articles are about gay rights or lack of I do have a brain and wonder just how many gays are in our society...Do you think there "might" just be an agenda here...

Regardless as I speak from my heart, I understand Clinton has the experience as a statesman, it is recognized. But she represents everything opposite I hold dear and I mean everything at this point in time.

Trump has been silver spoon fed because of his birthright, he didn't choose it but he moved upon it. He has no idea how it is to wake up and worry about if the medication for your offspring is going to be covered by insurance or not, he just doesn't know. At the end of the day I don't believe for a second either of the two really care, that's my problem to deal with....

So with the mindset it's my problem to deal with we all localize the preeminent issue at hand at the moment and do our best in dealing with them. Is it insurance, social security, the stock market, medical problems, gun rights both for and against, being white, being black, being anything....We all have issues dear to our hearts that are real world problems that dictate our modes of action...

I just don't believe for a second that the answer is coming from Washington but it sure would be nice for a change, Huh....

Today's media probably would have chewed Ronald Reagan up in his bid for the presidency.

For that development we can actually thank the GOP.... specifically the Rush Limbaugh type media onslaught of the mid-90s and then the Carl Rove election strategies developed to feed off that frenzied negativity of the right wing media outlets.

Limbaugh and those like him along with Fox News don't just report anything negative they can find about anything left of center they pound it in your head on a constant basis till it's more important than anything else out there..... most especially much more important than any shortcomings found in the candidates from the right.

That has helped Trump tremendously in his drive to the GOP nomination because his message is reaching those GOP partisans who most buy in to that Limbaugh/Rove attack scheme. Mainstream GOP has become too milquetoast for these voters and it showed in the primaries.

The result is the GOP is fractured.... and left with what I believe to be an unelectable presidential nominee.

So who's the better choice to fix our economy? Well we have Trump who understands the problems of our tax system and crazy over-regulation. He believes that many of our problems stem from poorly negotiated trade deals that put the US at a disadvantage. (Watching this administration get their pants taken down by Iran in negotiations shows how inept they are at flexing their muscles.)
Now you have Hillary who spent 8 years in the White House with free room and board. She was getting money from book deals and Bill had a nice salary. And they were so economically challenged that when they left the White House they claim that they were broke!!! Now she wants to be in charge of the nation's economy? In fact she's already admitted she can't do it and claims that she'll put Bill in charge. Now that's an impressive item on your presidential resume "I can't run the economy but my husband can."
So while Secy of State, ISIS flourished while we called them the JV. Egypt came under the rule of the radical Muslim Brotherhood. We helped overthrow Qaddafi and gave rise to radical Islamic hoards there. And when they killed Ambassador Stevens and 3 of his protectors, she actually blamed it on a YouTube video. We know from her emails that she knew it was a terrorist attack but she actually lied to the families of the killed that it was a spontaneous riot. Other than gathering millions in donations to the Clinton Foundation and approving the sale of US uranium production to Russia, I can't think of anything she did of any import as Secy. of State.

Scott I'm hearing you and agree, it's like knowing you are immune to a disease as those around you become infected, there's nothing you can do about it but watch.

Other than an EMP released into the atmosphere this version of Skynet is unstoppable and all pervasive....

It's highly possible that Trump's "Babe" campaign strategy just might sway enough white male voters over to the dark side.... I know my knees are weak and I'm wavering after perusing the above posts. lol

In any event barring a huge shift of white male voters this election appears to be over because he is getting crushed in the polls by all of those groups that you would think he might: Blacks, Hispanics and women.

    http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2016/06/27/new-nbc-abc-polls-n2183621

It's almost as if he was just trying to get nominated.... make the championship game.... and not care if he won or not.

I can understand the voting of blacks and some Hispanics. After all they've swallowed the Progressive lie of "white privilege." I have to roll my eyes as women vote for personality rather than policy. The only big question I have is just how dim witted are the white males out there that haven't seen the past 7 years of the administration's war on the white Christian-Judeo heritage of America? They allow Syrian Muslim refugees to enter but bar Syrian Christian refugees. They've gone out of their way to flood the country with tens of thousands of illegals from Mexico and Central America. They support sanctuary cities that protect alien felons. Their plan couldn't work without blind morons that are oblivious to what's really happening. Not everyone can object to this travesty. You have to be able to stand up to the constant labels that they throw. Racist, bigot, Islamaphobe, xenaphobe, mysoginist etc.

Latest polls today show only 1/3 of men favor Hillary and only 1/3 of women favor Trump...
