Had to gargle with bleach and it was all for nothing. The Aggies win the series against Ole Miss but fall just short in game 3 so the trophy goes to MSU who we beat like a rented Mule. Oh well, my boys are in good position for post season play so I'll take it. Congrats on the title Ralph. Hope my boys get a crack at ya in Omaha. 8)
Thank you Scott, we will see how the ACC tournament goes but I agree we should be looking at one of the slots in the top 8 seeds.. 43-9 for the season and 21-6 in conference, only lost two weekend series, one to the Gators the first weekend on the year and last years Champ Virginia....This is probably as good a team Miami has had in 15 years but the fans are still complaining if you can believe it...I'm very happy with the year..

B1G TEN Tournament had a great opening round in Omaha and Ohio State was the only winner in the top four seeds, beating Michigan 8-3. We will play #8 seed Iowa tonight, who beat top seed Minnesota yesterday in round one.
Alabama looked bad and whiffed through the Miss St. game. MSU looks very good and Alabama needs a lot of BP.
I watched Miami come from behind and get NC State with a 3 run jack in the 9th. There was a heated exchange between hitter and pitcher as he came down the home stretch to the plate. That Miami team has the look of a lot of great Miami teams in the past. Quick skill, two tons of pitchers who can take the bump and compete. Fast power guys on the corners and the OF... I can see why they won the ACC regular season.
Well the Aggies mashed today to make their way to the SEC champ game against the Gators. Not sure what we have left to throw at UF since we came out of the "loser" bracket. Would be nice to have the trophy but all I really care about is having a top 8 seed sewed up whicjh appears certain now. Agree with Corey, Miami looks stout.
Well we won the regular season title but lost 5-4 tonight to FSU after beating them at their house in a weekend series just a few days ago. Good luck tomorrow Scott against the Gators... Corey there was a lot of emotion in the NC State game and that bat flip after the homerun was for one done to us earlier in the game...
Ohio State can not match Miami or A&M but we corraled MSU 3-2 in Omaha last night in the BIG TEN Tournament. It took 10 innings and a home run to win the game 3-2. We will face MSU again this morning and if we win that one, we will be in the finals this afternoon vs Iowa. We have won 41 games this season. Always tough to progress in the losers bracket (double elimination)
Don if they won 41 games this season they are just as good as anyone else, good luck, hope you make it to the finals...

Ralph, we made it to the regionals with an 8-7 victory over Iowa for the Championship game. Minnesota won the regular conference championship. Tough climb with four victories in two days!
I'm mildy annoyed at being dropped to the #4 seed. I can understand UF and Miami being ahead of us... but Louisville irks me some. Didn't win their conference or even make the final of their tourney. With that said, we got a pretty good path to Omaha. What does bother me me is the the way they set the Omaha pools if chalk holds. That would put A&M and UF in the same side, along with LSU... :roll: (assuming I'm reading it right)
