George, LOL! Shaking the AD's hand is nothing compared to the power you wield.

Notre Dame vs IU this Sat. Tough game for Tim Gentry, I believe Tim is a IU basketball fan! :)

Jay Bilas has a ranking index on ESPN, he updates it regularily and has the Irish and the Hoosiers right at #32 and #33.

Who of you remembers Diggers first game vs IU...whoa boy, what a blowout. This should be very competitive.

USA Today Sports Staff unanimously picks Ohio State to beat the Irish.

5 of the 7 staffers pick OU to win the Nat'l Championship, while 1 picks Alabama and 1 picks Clemson.

I'll never forget it. The score is permanently etched in my brain, 91-29.

I attended the game 2 years later at IU, when the Irish, led by John Shumate, upset IU. I lived in Indy at the time and went down with 4 IU fans. I was ecstatic. However, the driver was so angry that I had to keep my mouth shut because I truly believed he might kick me out of the car and make me walk home.

    Sid,
Very humorous Sid on the second part of your post.

We play Kentucky in Brooklyn tomorrow and I can envision the score above, with us on the losing end.

Jalen Guyton, Kyler Murray's WR at Allen last year was suspended by Kelly for the rest of the season. He won't practice or travel with the team to Phoenix. He did not play this year.

No report of course on what specifically got him in trouble, but it's the usual unknown disciplinary issues.

Nope. Huskerman is in charge of the Conspiracy Dept and MCG is the believer.

Without knowing anything, I'm guessing he completely ignored academics and has been deemed hopeless. Eventually, something close to the truth will be leaked.

There is no conspiracy....it's a cabal of epic powers......the Irish mafia is having their way with the interior of the Buckeye defense. This is not funny.....game over. We don't have any kids left on the roster big enough to wear big boy pads in the middle of our defense. Enough with the leprechaun magic spell fellas. Seriously......

I liked our chances alot prior to Washington being compelled to troll the web pages of the Irish escort services. I was still optimistic after his game suspension....the shillelagh to the foot of Tommy Schutt is the last straw!!! The end is near......

    Buckeye T,

Now that you have let the cat out of the bag, the Irish will have some options.

Maybe Coach Meyer can do some patchwork here and there to slow them down?

You guys crack me up!! :)

I hope we play a good game. All the metrics favor Ohio State, they have the best coach outside of Tuscaloosa and they have out recruited us over the last 4 years, although surprisingly we have done fairly well in Ohio. Ohio State has a RB who will play on Sunday, next year...our guy is good but he's a true freshman. You guys have the #1 overall draft pick, the Jadaveon Clowney of this class, in Joey Bossa. I just hope he doesn't have a Clowney moment and blowup our RB like Clowney did the UM kid.

This all comes down to keeping Elliott under control. If the Irish can hold him under 100 yards our chances of winning improve dramatically.

This game could be Uncle Rico's last game if the Buckeyes have their way with us offensively.

I watched part of Echo's 2015 last night. It's the ND football banquet hosted by Hannah Storm and Dan Hicks . It's 45min, but I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far.

I see where Kelly commented that the Showtime series was a lot of fun and he thought it helped ND with recruiting and getting the message out but that he wouldn't be interested in doing the same thing next year. I'd agree with that. It's been great but it'd be hard to follow it up without starting to make the program a reality show.
