I don't (can't) usually talk about Alabama Basketball, but for some reason I have the urge to talk about them. They won a couple of interesting games in the last week. 8)

Avery Johnson was an interesting hire at HC, maybe things are trending up. Hardcore ND basketball fans considered the loss to Bama a bad loss... Who knows as the season goes on maybe not.

I'm just kidding. I really don't see Alabama becoming a real player in NCAA BB but we did also beat Wichita State, who I think was #20 at the time, so maybe we can at least make some waves, this year.

I watched the ND-Alabama game . I was impressed with AL's energy and aggressiveness. It's a talented bunch who are going to win a lot of games. ND is not one of the top teams in the nation, but they are no pushover. AL took the game to them and never let up.

There's no reason why Alabama shouldn't be a solid force in SEC basketball. They'll always be a program team and not a bunch of 1 and done guys, but the right guy could really build something there.

Corey, I don't know why but we have never been able to reach the top tier of basketball. We may be able to do it, but we never have.

True, but you have the basic tools and resources to make it as a solid top 20 team annually with the right guy.
