Dominant 2nd half by the Buckeyes. Congrats..

On to the Iron Bowl. Doubtful Auburn can keep it close the 1st half!

    Bobda,

Thanks, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of this game.

Michigan Football is in good hands with Harbaugh!

    Thank you Bobda...class as always.

Was surprised at the discrepancy...Big Blue has had a good year and deserves the good bowl game that they will surely get.

Thank you God for NOT letting Muschump choose A&M.
That guy is a embarrassment to the game.

Derrick Henry is an awesome back. That is all.

Unless he just blows it and fumbles and stumbles vs the Gators he's the Heisman winner.

I think with the absolute destruction of Penn State by MSU the B1G is assured of one spot in the playoffs. Iowa is absolute lock if they win the B1G Championship, and if MSU wins they would have to just look horrible to not also get into the playoffs.

It's really OU vs ND at this point. Fair or not I do believe they will give the nod to OU as a "conference" champion even if ND beats Stanford. The common foe will be totally forgotten in favor of conference champion. I guess we could sneak in if they look horrible but win vs OSU while ND dominates Stanford. But truthfully I don't see us dominating Stanford they are a really good team.

I think that we could have overcome it if we had dominated both Wake Forrest and BC on the scoreboard, as we really should have..but we didn't so we have what we have.

Notre Dame really suffers because even if they beat Stanford convincingly, this game won't be the last one to be considered. All of the conference championship games will have the last say. Of course, what happens for instance if UNC beats Clemson.

Clemson played as if they were extras from the walking dead today, my hound showed more effort passing gas from the leftover turkey I fed him today

    Battle of inept offenses.
Les has no QB, but the Aggies have Spavital.
I swear this guy is wasting an amazing collection of talent with his Pop Warner offensive calls.

Well thats it we let them off the hook with a personal foul negating a sack then a big pass play against a prevent defense.

Gawd it was like being forced to gnaw my own leg off.

The Aggie defense actually kept Fournette in check for most of the game... he finally had a good drive at the end when the D was wearing down.

The Aggie "offense" is ridiculous. How many times can you run the ball on 2nd and 8 and get nothing, then try a slow play action fake on 3rd and long when the defense you are facing is bringing the house?
Apparently EVERY TIME... that's all Spav had on his cards for 3rd and long.

If that sum-b!tch ain't fired before the bowl, Sumlin is putting his own job on the line for next year.

May be we can work a package deal you fire your OCoord and we will fire our DCoord who has a defense so complex you have to be a savant to play in it.

My solice to this whole season will be if OU wins the championship. That way, I can think back on this for the whole off season: "We improved greatly over the past decade. So much so that it took double overtime for the eventual national champion to beat us."

24 hours since my last post and the win over Michigan in Ann Arbor was really icing on the cake. Our chance for a consecutive championship is gone, but we finished with a very convincing win over our arch rival.

I knew that our chances of going undefeated this season was a real challenge. The loss to MSU at home last weekend was tough to accept.

Coach Meyer made a terrible mistake in choosing Cardale to be his starting QB. Easy to look back now and see the mistake. Coaches are human too.

We had a glorious season and hopefully a win in the bowl game with whoever that may be.

    10 ranked teams go down.

Clemson, Bama, MSU (/Iowa?), OU all favorites now. UNC can play spoiler, but I doubt they can sneak in with two FCS wins on their resume. Florida can play spoiler without a shot at the CFP. Stanford can still sneak in with an upset by UNC or Florida, and possibly over OU.

ACC playoff will be Clemson vs. UNC.
    B12 champion is OU.
B10 will be Iowa vs. MSU.
P12 will be Stanford vs. USC.
SEC will be Florida vs. Bama.

ACC has 9 bowl-eligible teams (for 9 contracted slots, plus 2 additional conditional ones).
B12 has 6 bowl-eligible teams (for 7 contracted slots). They have one more team (KSU) that can be come bowl-eligible if they win their last game against WV.
    B10 has 8 bowl-eligible teams (for 9 contracted slots).
    P12 has 10 bowl-eligible teams (for 7 contracted slots).
SEC has 10 bowl-eligible teams (for 10 contracted slots).
