Just looking at the slate of games, I'd pick Baylor and Iowa as the most likely targets of an upset.

I picked Washington State. Low confidence points, but I believe they are capable of the upset.

Tennessee better not. Losing when you are a 40.5 point favorite would be very bad.

Sid, capable of the upset and fulfilling that capability are sometimes two very different things when you're talking about wazzu.

I am betting on Oklahoma to give Baylor an ass kicking in Waco?

That OU/Baylor game could be a really good game. I'd be surprised if OU beats them badly in Waco, but not surprised if they win. Baker Mayfield the OU QB is a really solid player and has more starts/experience than the Baylor true freshman Stidham.

Other really good game this weekend that nobody will likely watch is the Memphis vs Houston game. Houston really dynamic on offense and Memphis has a really great QB as well, the Houston QB is one of those dual threats and the Memphis QB is a future NFL player.

Miami is on a bit of a rise since they fired Golden, and they face UNC who is hotter than a firecracker right now. They could be a 1 loss team facing a undefeated Clemson in the ACC Champ game.

Biggest game of the year for Texas, going to Morgantown this weekend. If they win then they still have a shot at a bowl which would be incredible given the depths this team has seen after blowouts vs ND, TCU and Iowa State.

It would make the Tech game absolutely the biggest game of the year on Thanksgiving in Austin. We only have 1 in a 1000 chance to beat Baylor in Waco on Dec 5th. So need 2 wins, it's a playoff for us. Team better be ready.

Coach Meyers says J.T. will start Saturday unless he has a bad week of practice.

J.T. pleaded guilty in court this morning and his license was suspended for six months, a $400.00 fine imposed and a three-day education course to be completed on alcohol abuse and driving while impaired.

I am glad this is over and hopefully he will learn from this experience.

Braxton Miller has a sore neck and was scheduled to practice today, He should be OK for the Illinois game.

My upset picks this week are Wazzoo over UCLA and the Sooners over Baylor.

Minnesota hires "interim" coach Tracy Claeys for the Gophers HC job. He was the interim when Kill had to take some time off previously due to health issues and came to Minn with him in 2010.

So they are the first team to fill their HC spot. I'm sure there will be little or no change in the coaching staff at Minn other than to hire a coach to fill the job Claeys did for the Gophers when Kill was the HC.

John Cooper has won the Alonzo Stagg Award. Great honor for John and he still is close to the program here in Columbus. Unfortunately, he could not seem to beat Michigan and that was his downfall. A real gentleman in my book.

According to Sumlin it's not sure whether or not Kyler Murray will start for A&M this weekend. If not it could be either Nate Hubenak or Kyle Allen.

If Murray doesn't start due to the concussion protocol, and Hubenak does start over Allen that has to cause some chatter over on A&M boards. I don't think Sumlin has ever said that Allen was injured and that was one of the reasons he hasn't played since the Ole Miss game.

Allen was not injured in the sense that you'd say he had a separated this or sprained that...
He was very "beat up" all over and his sore shoulder was definitely affecting his throws.

Until he gefs over all that he will probably be the emergency backup.

Wont matter who it is as long as Spaz is calling the plays...
