Essentially the SEC race comes down to two games.... Fla vs. Ga this week and LSU vs. Ala in two weeks.

UF has all but clinched the SEC East with a win vs. the Dawgs and the winner of LSU-Bama looks mighty good as the West champ although LSU would have to knock out Ole Miss to ensure the winner of LSU-Bama is in Atlanta.

On Fla vs. Ga. the Gators are only a 2.5 point favorite.

I'm not predicting this one just yet.....

So what if Ole Miss wins out?

If Ole Miss wins out they are the West Champ.... having beaten Alabama and LSU.

if Ole Miss wins the SEC, there's a very real chance there won't be an SEC team in the playoff.

If Ole Miss wins the SEC they have to beat LSU.... Which seems unlikely. It also seems unlikely that LSU or Bama can rep the SEC in the CFP without winning the SEC.

MCG, that was what was said in the other thread. A 2 loss team would not/should not be in the playoff if there undefeated 1 loss teams left.
