    Forget last week, it's a new week..gotta go out and do it again.

    Friday see's Stanford on the road at Oregon State. If they play like they did last week vs USC, the Beavers are in for a hard time. Stanford will pound the Beaver! :)

    Sat Games:

    BYU at Michigan. Man that BYU AD really didn't do his team any big favors with an opening schedule of at Neb, home vs Boise State, at UCLA, at Michigan. Yikes. Even Joel would think that is a little over the top! :)

    Ga.Tech at Duke. Duke lost to Northwestern, and Ga.Tech to the Irish. Duke with David Cutliffe have become a solid team. Should be a good game, both teams need to win.

    Okla. State at Texas...Longhorns are underdogs again at home. But like Ga. Tech the Cowboys haven't played anybody, while Texas has been playing the big boys. Longhorns with the new phenom at QB will kill these guys. Go to Vegas, take the points and the Longhorns.

    Tenn at Fla...used to be one of the biggest games in Sept. Lost some luster recently, but could be trending up. Both of course need the win.

    TCU at Texas Tech. This could really be a great game. Both QB's are outstanding in their systems, and both teams have somewhat suspect defenses. Mahones the Tech QB is a guy if you haven't seen him play you've missed something. I expect though that TCU wins this one.

    Texas A&M at Arkansas....Red Raiders have already softened up the Hogs, I expect the Aggies will fry some bacon. :)

    UCLA at Arizona...quietly RichRod has been rebuilding the Wildcats down in Tucson. We'll see, how it works vs UCLA who brings the Wunderkid on his first big road trip.

    Utah at Oregon...Utes another team that is pretty good and nobody really seems to care. Ducks bounced back pretty good vs last weeks patsy. Utes are undefeated.

    USC at Ariz State...Trojans need to get a big win and get some mojo back. Sun Devils after losing to A&M to open the season have beaten two really bad teams, but they didn't exactly beat them 50-0. I think they get housed by USC.

    Other games with Skybox teams.

    ND vs UMass. Jif says we should beat them 220-0. We'll see, they might be better than Cumberland. :)

    Purdue vs Bowling Green The Falcons have played about as well as Purdue has played. This is pretty even if you ask me.

    Ohio State vs W. Michigan ...maybe a practice game for the real Mich?

    Neb vs So. Miss...there was a time when that So. Miss program was always upsetting somebody. Not this year.

    Wazzu vs CAL ... just dress your QB in Burnt Orange Kes, CAL can't tackle him then! :)

    La. Monroe vs Alabama. They better bring and ambulance, the Tide is gong to lay some wood to those guys.

    Hurricanes have the week off. I hear they are headed to Central Fla for a team event helping some fan with his farm! :)

    This must be MAC weekend in the B1G, seems like so many of the games are vs the MAC.

    CUMBERLAND COLLEGE!! that's the team.Doc....I remember reading about that game many years ago..I remembered the score..but could not think of the school!! If I also remember..the biggest gain all day for Cumberland was a 5 yard loss!!

    I'll have to suggest it to them. Although, I think Cal is playing the purple puppies this weekend. Wazzu has scheduled BYE this weekend. We get Cal the first game in October.

    Whooops..you're right Kes. :oops: :oops:

    Weirdest B1G schedule goes to Iowa.

    Illinois State
    @Iowa State
    Pitt
    North Texas
    @Wisconsin
    Illinois
    @Northwestern
    Maryland
    @Indiana
    Minnesota
    Purdue
    @Nebraska

    Notice that they don't play Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State or Penn State. Weird.

    :idea: :arrow:

    I had a lot of fun listening to the radio on the way home from work tonight. Petros Papadakis and the USC fans are really suffering. They all HATE Pat Haden...but not as much as the drunken head coach Sarkisian. They hate the DL, which got stomped. They basically hate everything and everybody...

    Oh! The humanity!

    Heisman watch for this week.

    1. Superman...LSU
    2. Chubb..UGa
    3. Boykin ..TCU
    4. Elliot ..Ohio State
    5. Baker Mayfield...new guy to the list. OU QB, former walk on at Texas Tech.

    Ohio State QB's, both started the season on the list are now no where to be found. Fame is fleeting. But plenty of time to make it back.

    Wonderkid QB from UCLA still on the list though, based on his game vs UVA I guess.

    When your QB ratings are 5 and 14 you sort of fade away.

    :idea: :!:

    I don't know anyone around here who is pumping Josh Rosen for the Heisman. He's not even close to being the best player at UCLA. That would be 2-way LB/TB Myles Jack...
