I didn't watch it. But I did see a clip of Carly Fiorina taking on Chris Matthews, she handled him very easily. I saw the clip of her with Couric as well and she handled her pretty easily as well. I like her, she does have that stint as CEO of HP as a millstone around her neck, I wonder how she will spin that as the contest goes on.
  Carly Fiorina is my current favorite. I've voted for her before here in California. My other favorites are Kasich, Walker, Dr. Carson and Rubio.
After digesting both debates and the resultant fall out, my new short list is Kasich, Cruz, Fiorina, Carson Rubio was impressive but I question his fortitude in the face of opposition. He has waffled a lot in Congress. I think Kasich would make an excellent president. Cruz I rate right behind him. The other two I am very impressed with but they lack Kadich's track record. They would make excellent running mates. Bush, Trump, Christie, Huckabee I could not vote for. The rest are technically still in the running for me. Re: Trump. He is all the bad things that people say about him. But his most refreshing attribute us that he does not care if you know that. His directness about immigration, our diminished stature in the dork and the incompetence of our leaders is diarming but accurate. He vocalizes the distress of a large part of our nation and that is his allure. But he mitigates his message with the name calling and his demeanor. He would not work well with others. But make no mistake: he is no spineless jellyfish like the majority of the GOP currently in power. Re:FOX News. There is no doubt that they choreographed the ambush on Trump. Baier led off with the amateurish show of hands charade that was clearly meant to embarrass Trump followed by Miss Megan targeting him with the name calling assault. Wallace with his eye rolling at Trump' responses rounded out the assault. I will never look at those three the same again. They were not moderators; they were script writers. I read analysis of the debate by a third party. The FOX crew used 31% of the air time pontificating when they had only two hours less commercials to interrogate ten candidates. Also, they froze Ted Cruz out for 41 straight minutes without a question and they never asked him anything about Obamacare.
